So since the ibt leads all the unions by far in member violence then all the teamsters are far worse then the IAM if everyone thought your way.

Then all the ibt members are mobsters too?

Open your eyes and your mind.

"This act was not done by the IBT, it was done by individuals who acted on their own, not with the blessing of the International nor the District." Does this sound farmiliar.

The same thing the IAM just did in PHL.

All unions are the same. Half trues to make them look good and intimidation to scare them. Some lead to these type of situations and yes it is the unions's (IBT/IAM) fault.

where do you board mongers get your facts?? A federal investigation....get a grip!!

Hmmm.....I think that would be "good for all" to have a federal investigation.

Has anyone seen dell or 7 anywhere? They haven't been here for a while. :)

Guess you missed the day.

It just happened at Piedmont where the stock clerks at PI Commuter were IAM and the Stock Clerks at Allegheny were ibt, the ibt forced an election, 50%+1 was not achieved the the stock clerks at the newly merged Piedmont/Allegheny are now non-union, decertified with no collective bargaining agreement and are now employees at will.

Lets not forget it already happened to US Fleet Servie in the Piedmont/PSA/US Air merger as well.

This happen how long ago? If they are still non-union at this point could it be possible that the majority want to remain non-union?

But hey don't let the facts get in the way of your rant.

LMAO..."don't let the facts get in the way..." Just where did you get your facts the individuals acted on their own? The investigation has just barely started...uh I know why don't you inform the investigation board that it's a fact the individuals acted on their own. Save everyone sometime and tax-payers money. ;)

Well, I'm gonna go out to the lake and do some fishin' the rest of the day. If you don't hear from me again you don't have to suspect the IBT. B)

23. Also following the attack, US Airways Manager of Labor Relations, Mr. Y, came to the hotel. He viewed the tape and was able to identify the names of all 25 men on the tape. He said that they were all US Airways employees and confirmed that all 25 had been signed out of their duty assignments on "union business".

So LL1776 dues money paid the salary for these 25 guys to be off on Union business, plus an additional 27% (or close to that percentage) in 'Administrative fees' paid to Usairways when someone is taken off their shift. Nice.

I'm still not in favor of an election because I'm fairly certain it will mean de-certification, but the Feds need to step in, if they already haven't, and start looking into LL1776. I'm sure they will find more shenanigans if they look in the right places. In fact, I KNOW they will.

His picture and listing is still there under Executive Board.

"I work for the IAM in PIT and I can guarantee you that we do not condone this behavior. In fact we have a meeting tomorrow and if the AGC from PHL condones this behavior , I will resign and try to help the TWU."

AGC from PHL is Tony Armideo. Seems like he condoned this behavior, alright.

I know who was involved and who wasn't. I was just correcting an earlier post that said his picture was removed from 141's website.

Once again, America will have its stereotypes reinforced, that unions are made up of thugs and goons who have to resort to violence, rather than to negotiation or persuasion.

Its 2006 for christ sake, not 1945, the IAM should be ashamed of themselves, but the no-necks lost the ability to feel shame.

Sundown on the Union
