Yes el snoopo, I'm aware of that. Sehams finest material is what Woody's super lawyer has to work with though.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Seham isnt going to be trying the case. El Snoopo

Is it Brengel (sp?)? I thought I had read a motion requesting a delay in the trial because Mr. B had some other big case to try. Was that just more BS in trying to delay? I thought Seham said this case had no merit. If it has no merit why not get the west ass whoopin' started as soon as possible? Hmmm? Interesting!

You guys figure your funds to be well spent there, as do we in opposing your efforts.

I am not saying my lawyer can beat your lawyer. I am saying it is best we pay the lawyers upfront.

On a parallel line, did the recently posted FAQs about damages, and objector obligations as they apply to union expenses come from USAPA? If so they are once again completely out of touch with what is actually happening here, and/or what position they are in.

And....Your assumptions would be wrong on all counts. Nothing new there

Suggestions for future life = Don't ever assume your views to be universal. Don't presume to know how anyone else ever values anything. Whenever possible; always seek to speak from experience and not assumptions.
So your value system is not outraged by spending somewhere between 40 -50 % of total dues on legal expenses?

My mistake. My experience tells me most people will be outraged.. But you may be in the minority with that.

Care to have a friendly wager the total usapa has spent on legal so far? Want to take a guess?

I obviously don't have access to Seham's rates to USAPA, but I am guessing that the total costs and fees that will be charged to USAPA for the North Carolina and Phoenix cases, including the appellate stuff, is well north of one million dollars and I think estimate is very conservative. Actually $5 million would not surprise me.

The costs associated are significant for travel, lodging, court reporters, transcripts, copying fees, FedEx bills, etc. A lot of the Phoenix case is fast tracked which means the court reporters are charging a premium for fast turn-around of deposition transcripts. I don't know if any video depositions were taken, but they cost quite a bit. Additionally, all those appeals are also costly, mostly in time and legal research. (Being caught mis-citing the law or citing wrong law can be a very bad mistake.)

At some point the amounts will become known. I think it will be quite a surprise when it does.

1) Not in the least. Thwarting, in any way, the potential triumph of the west's obscene position is beyond price....period. This is, to me, an issue of morality and principal. I was never very adept at placing any monetary value on such.....
2) Don't care. See 1) above ;)
