I can't tell you how many times it is repeated that no one wanted anything to do with your toxic group, and there is no way we are going down the same path. It is the AWA pilots that everyone feels bad for.

Have a great day! :D

jetz,

It is not necessary to tell us, we all heard it loud and clear in the Northwest merger committe and UAL merger committee reports regarding the LCC merger.

Now, we see the byproduct in the NW/DL merger and I am sure the UAL/CO merger will also see a more amicable agreement reached.

Thanks for your support.

767 Jettz,

Looks like the Continental scope is going to save you UAL boys. College roomate said your UAL scope sucked as bad as the westies scope!

Parker said that the reason you merge is to get rid of equipment..........I hope that doesn't happen to you.

You seem obsessed with the swan...........

The best part of dealing with guys like you is that you haven't been right yet! The 9th got it right!

The desert judge took them as far as he could. Did you notice how the desert judge was going to handle the US Government.......

Someone in the desert district pulled the plug on the bush boy desert judge. Thank goodness someone had some good judgement.

Could you imagine the field day the media would have had with the desert judge! Fox news would have loved it!

Just wondering if you could pass the hat for donations over at UAL for the westies..........I am sure your brothers at UAL would love to support the westies.

Your just going to love it when the "desert judge" gets to hear the company's request.

The West has had the industry's moral support from the onset. Those 4th circuit losers usapa, even pointed it out in their RICO suit. The entire industry was denying east pilots jumpseats and the RICO losers thought that merited a RICO charge. The rest of the industry had the audacity to deny jumpseats from the entitled east pilots, so they sued AWAPPA. Being the usapa RICO losers that they are, they of course did not lose just once, but had to push it and became two time losers.

BTW, we have recieved donations from pilots outside of LCC.

Thanks to all and any other airline pilots and employees who have supported the West's cause. We are very grateful.

OH yes, they were loving you guys from day one for lowering the bar as far as it could go. You broke early ground on not having a pension, and it helped all of us.

More misinformation from you.

If as you say we lowered as low as it could go.

How did you guys get it even lower?

A couple of reminders:

DO NOT get into individual back and forth arguments/discussions. Stay on topic and discuss the ISSUES not the POSTERS.

Also--stay on topic of East/West, and do NOT discuss other mergers EXCEPT as the issue pertains to THIS dispute.

The cornfield is getting crowded....

Clear,

Remember that change of control provision? We really like separate operations. The west gets to live under date of hire for the rest of your west career. Enjoy!

Cheers!!

Donations have ramped up since the 4th's decision. Looks like Cleary's plans backfired on him. I guess we should thank him for appealing the case.

Anxiously awaiting the next blunder.

Further, the 330 fleet has almost doubled, something you would not have had absent the merger.

We had 10 A330s on order prior to the merger. Just like the West fleet, the East fleet has shrunk to min fleet count. That is not growth. West has taken delivery of several A320 family aircraft, but the West fleet has NOT grown. Both sides have parked aircraft over the last few years. The 190s were supposed to be growth, but even they, to a large degree ended up being replacement aircraft.

So far, all this outfit has done is move pieces around the chess board. I darn sure wouldn't call that growth.

Man Jetzz, why the focus on the Swan? This is bordering on the obsessive. What is the point? Why don't you PM and save us the attacks?

9, I think you've got that reversed. Since you asked, it is he who has been obsessed with me, repeating misinformation and flat out lies about me over and over again. He started the feud weeks ago in the last thread. I'm just setting the facts straight. (My inner native New Yorker :D ) I challenged him to prove what he was saying about me, but he could not. He continues with the personal insults and jabs at me. Fine with me. Sticks and stones and all that. But if you can't take it you shouldn't dish it.

I've been saying for the longest time that everyone here has an opinion and until the dust settles no one will know the final outcome. I think by now we all know each others position. Yet we all still come back here to speculate some more.

PS. As per the board rules, I did try to PM Swan to put an end to it. Even invited him to PM me daily any and all insults he cares to sling my way. I won't reveal his response but suffice it to say it was pretty vulgar and unfit for public consumption. Hope that answer's your question. Now back to the debate...

Question,

Do you consider growth anything above what you had at the time of the merger (not orders but actual hulls) or do you consider growth to be above what you had before the fleet reductions?

I'd say hulls. We've all parked a sizable number of 757s and 737s. A few A320 family were returned to the lessors, but that was a small number. We are both still at min fleet count for contractual purposes because the company is not in a growth mode, which is exactly what the company wants. We added TLV but pulled out of other European cities with the A330/767s. Now, Hawaii is a goner (out of CLT) and I don't expect Rio to stay around either. We are actually running one round trip between CLT and PHL with a 330-200.
Bottom line...orders/deliveries do not translate into growth if you are getting rid of other aircraft.
