US Pilots Labor Discussion 7/13- STAY ON TOPIC AND OBSERVE THE RULES

The point is not who went away. The point is what went away.

Exactly the point.

What went away is union representation of the West pilots best interest, in favor of advancing the east pilots interest.

usapa does not want DOH because of some union principle or because it promotes harmony in the workplace. The objective was to enhance the position of the east pilots above what they got in the arbitration. To get something you were told over and over you will not get, and get it by taking it from the West.

The evidence is absolutely overwhelming. usapa is guilty of failing their DFR owed to the West as long as they seek to renege on the Nic and advance the east's position.

And, the Nicolau Award, the result of binding arbitration, the "thorny question", accepted by the company, is not going away.

HOW, much will it cost us for the UNOBTANIUM, badge backers,? MM!

Don't know, but you already have them. They say "Union Pilot" and cost LOA93 wages for the foreseeable future. Doesn't usapa have some kind of count up clock, or pay calculator, reminding you daily of the cost of your "Union Pilot" status?

Now this is the stuff I listen to, not a disgruntled former employee or ALPA shill. This guy has the knowledge on this case, hands down. Keep it coming. And thank you.
More hypocrisy, 9?

Why not tell him to go spend time with his family for cryin' out loud, instead of "wasting his time" with such lengthy posts. Maybe you could admonish him for "not having any skin in the game." Better yet, just tell him to mind his own business, since he's not even a USAirways employee, let alone an airline pilot. While you're at it, come up with some insult about being a USAPA shill and probably being married to an east pilot. (Why else spend so much time on this forum involved in other people's business.)

Oh wait! I forgot... he agrees with the east view of the world, therefor he's welcome here any time. Especially since it's "the stuff you listen to."

Well, you put it that way, everday for us is a , "good day" , DOA-NIC, LOA93 pay grievence, MDA, pension investigation, alot of bang for the buck I'd say, and when the attrition add'l 330's kick in thank god for USAPA! MM! BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!

The point is not who went away. The point is what went away.

What went away is the legal association of pilots known as the AWA MEC and the AAA MEC. These are the entities that entered the agreement to arbitrate. These entities no longer exists. The people who formed these entities are still around, but that's not the point.

If you belong to the Greater Phoenix International Garden Club, and it's officers enter a contractual agreement to rent the Convention Center, and before the event it disbands, do the people involved disappear? Do the members have to pay the rent even though the club is gone? No. The demise of the entity signing the contract negates the agreement.

Uh, evidently you've never actually rented a convention center or signed a business lease. Trying to walk away from your responsibilities doesn't mean you aren't responsible.

BINGO, you are correct USAPA, NEVER SIGNED THE LEASE, 2 MEC's that got voted off the property did! NIC DOA!MM!

And usapa never signed the CBA, so the company should be free not to follow it and make you employees at will.

Thats using your logic.

That seperate ratification thing is going to be tough also, use your logic on that one! MM! Logically why waste money(2mill+) trying to get an injunction to use the NIC if the COMPANY has to anyway, hey but WE ALL KNOW THEY DON'T ! GOING TO LUV TO SEE THAT WASTE OF WEST PILOT DOLLARS! MM!
