Just so eveyone is clear, This group you are referencing is not the same organization and has nothing to do with Ray Abernathy or Emily.

It is a shame you have failed to do your homework and this was pointed out several days ago on the thread you earlier referenced.

This is not a union vs. association issue, Jim little is sincere about this issue and we have had discussions in the past. I hope you will take the time to be constructive in your opinions and if you would like, I will be more than happy to present the discussion on this thread to the Abernathy group.

You have got to be kidding.
Is this more of the twu turnaround plan??
Well you can stick it in your arse.
The only improvement to this job is getting rid of this company union AKA the twu.
We tried this years ago with separate negotiations and it does not work.
I am tired of hearing the sympathetic Bull crap from you and how the twu cares and we have to change from within.

After the last 15 years of concessions I have had enough.
I could care less about the BS you and your PR firm are going to blow up my arse.
The only answer is to get rid of those bums in the twu who by the way all got raises while the rank and file lost their shirts.

F U and F the totally worthless union.

THE TWU USES UNION BUSTERS AGAINST IT'S OWN MEMBERS!!!

HAVE THEY NO SHAME!!!???

Ray Abernathy is a spokesman for the afl-cio, you can find that all over the net.

Abernathy Associates is a different group altogether. Show us your proof, how and why would anyone believe anything the twu has to say. Show us any believable documentation and no that does not include the misinformer!!!

ATTENTION:

This just in...

There is NO SUCH thing as gravity afterall, it is the TWU sucking so bad that actually holds us on the planet earth.

Time for Change, why are you so against change when your alias says otherwise?

You have indicated you have tried, can you eplain what you have tried? What 15 years of concessions, Have you gone to the street? are you one of the thousand that showed up recently to interveiw at AAR? I believe the starting wage will be below our wages with no retirement. Can you expand on these issues?

Thanks,

Yeah I have a suggestion.

We need to obtain Craft Union representation instead of Industrial Union and we should belong in a Union of Mechanic and Related only.

We need to get out of the AFL-CIO and into an independent organization that does not fund liberal agendas that alienate many members.

Good Luck!
You want a craft Union? this may have worked in the 60's when the pilots and others were hunting for an identity. Today even under amfa you pay a fee 3 times more than we pay the AFL-CIO and they don't offer training, support or political agenda. MAG McCormick group is a for profit organization that is stealing from its members and signing contracts! They have several other subsidiaries including PFAA and local home owner associations.

Why do you advocate joining this group? How do you plan to seperating the class from the craft?

You feel the AFL-CIO alienates their members? How do propose to change this?

Buck, Please explain how you propose to change this within the TWU?

" Twenty Years of Concessions"

Please don't give your typical answer of Amfa! They are faced with the same concerns!

Kevin, maybe you need reminded of what Jim Little wrote:

I have asked the AFL-CIO and Abernathy Associates to assist the ATD with developing our Membership Outreach Program

It does not say Ray Abernathy, a spokesman for the afl-cio.

There are several possibilities and all suck.

One, Jim Little was trying to pass off Ray Abernathy for an associate to make it look like they hired a separate association for consultation.

Two, Ray Abernathy a spokesman for the afl-cio also receives pay on the side as a way of embezzling money out of the afl-cio.

Three, they are in fact using the union busting Abernathy Associates.

Four, Jim Little called Ray Abernathy, Abernathy Associates without realizing there would be some copyright infringement and/or thought he could get away with it.

I don't think quickly making up some cards for Ray Abernathy is going to cut the mustard but, you are welcome to try and deceive the membership again.

If there is another possability, explain!!!

AMFA has never been my typical answer and you know it. Again you are a liar.

You cannot change the TWU when it is ran by the International that has no interests in the mechanic craft and class. The TWU cannot change as long as it claims to adhere to the policies of the AFL-CIO. So I would push for the removal of the affiliation to the AFL-CIO. The political clout you state that they have has not achieved anything for the mechanic craft and class in the airline industry nor the labor movement in general for a long time. This is why the members may register democrat here at TUL, but they vote their convictions at election time. The membership is not as clueless as you believe, they will do the right thing. When the AFL-CIO remembers that the mechanic craft and class of the airline industry are interested in being represented and the AFL-CIO shows some backbone, the membership will respond. Strength in numbers can only be exercised when you have unity and what unionism is, that has been forgotten at least at TUL All the current TWU does is separate the membership. Concessions must stop!

Did you vote for Jim Cook?

I've been digging on the internet, and the only Abernathy Associates I can find is this UNION BUSTING outfit! I smell a rat, A BIG RAT!

Ok Kevin You have forced me in to it you are a liar. Pick your sorry ass up and come by dock 5A. Bring your contract and show me the starting wage for Mechanic and OSM's than show me the last time AA hired a full mechanic at Tulsa and we will call AAR on my cell phone and compare. NO VOTE  NO PEACE!!!
