This is not a union vs. association issue, Jim little is sincere about this issue and we have had discussions in the past. I hope you will take the time to be constructive in your opinions and if you would like, I will be more than happy to present the discussion on this thread to the Abernathy group.
Ray Abernathy is a spokesman for the afl-cio, you can find that all over the net.Checking it Out said:Just so eveyone is clear, This group you are referencing is not the same organization and has nothing to do with Ray Abernathy or Emily.
It is a shame you have failed to do your homework and this was pointed out several days ago on the thread you earlier referenced.
Time for Change, why are you so against change when your alias says otherwise?TIME FOR CHANGE said:You have got to be kidding.
Is this more of the twu turnaround plan??
Well you can stick it in your arse.
The only improvement to this job is getting rid of this company union AKA the twu.
We tried this years ago with separate negotiations and it does not work.
I am tired of hearing the sympathetic Bull crap from you and how the twu cares and we have to change from within.
After the last 15 years of concessions I have had enough.
I could care less about the BS you and your PR firm are going to blow up my arse.
The only answer is to get rid of those bums in the twu who by the way all got raises while the rank and file lost their shirts.
F U and F the totally worthless union.
You want a craft Union? this may have worked in the 60's when the pilots and others were hunting for an identity. Today even under amfa you pay a fee 3 times more than we pay the AFL-CIO and they don't offer training, support or political agenda. MAG McCormick group is a for profit organization that is stealing from its members and signing contracts! They have several other subsidiaries including PFAA and local home owner associations.Decision 2004 said:Yeah I have a suggestion.
We need to obtain Craft Union representation instead of Industrial Union and we should belong in a Union of Mechanic and Related only.
We need to get out of the AFL-CIO and into an independent organization that does not fund liberal agendas that alienate many members.
Good Luck!
AMFA has never been my typical answer and you know it. Again you are a liar.Checking it Out said:Buck, Please explain how you propose to change this within the TWU?
" Twenty Years of Concessions"
Please don't give your typical answer of Amfa! They are faced with the same concerns!
