TWU negotiations.........what?

the nmb has been a waste of our time. Looks like the intl. with pass something between themselfs in acouple of weeks . what africking joke

So the NMB says nothing further can be done. Yet they won`t release us? What a circus. Ok , time for the almighty "line AMT" to show our displeasure. This has gone way past absurd. I`ll be watching the on time and cancelation numbers with baited breath.

this whole NMB thing has been a complete waste of our time and money. The mediator brought nothing to the table and leaves the table with the satisfaction of solving nothing. In my opinion, the NMB iis ineffective in negotiations and favors the company stalling negotiations in hopes of us getting tired and caving into any company proposals that is offered. Neither side has moved off the last proposal and we are at an impasse. We have been 8 years without a contract and that is not long enough? The NMB and the company share in the same goal......promote hopeless and fear then they will fall in line voluntarily like always!!

Mediator was a waist of time, from a union stand point.
GAME ON!

Maybe it is time to lock the company in a room 24/7 with around the clock negotiations somewhere in arkansas in a barn until we come to an agreement! Time to get out of Dallas!

This sounds like the NMB had enough, asked both sides if they wish to be released, and BOTH sides answered "NO".
So the NMB steps out.
The TWU bluff has been called!
Now What?

There was no bluff. They didn't want to be released. This way Little Jimmy can work his magic and get us his idea of an "Industry leading contract"

Have you forgotten that James C Little requested a release over 18 months ago?

That would be classified as a bluff by my definition. But I have been wrong before.

Did you fail to notice that there was NO REQUEST for a release in this update?

maybe get someone else OTHER than Larry Pike in there negotiating, we need to get this done...high expectations would be nice but i think we need to look at reality. get this done!
