They had zoot suits and fedoras on. No beating though, when they fired up the chainsaws the TWU ran.

Word on the street is that they were bum rushed and 2 TWU Int Reps are in the hospital.

First of ALL the TWU will never RUN from a fair fight which 30 Vs 5 is not unless you are using IAM MATH!!!
Cowards and CRIMINALS thats what the IAM members who did this are. ALL of the MEMBERS who did this have been caught on Video tape on the Hotel Security system.
Five have been positively Identified and warrents for their arrest HAVE BEEN ISSUED!!!! So if you know any of them tell the A**H*LES to turn themselves in.
ALL WILL BE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the IAM supports such behavior then I for one would welcome decertification rather than be part of that.
AND just to let you know TWU already has enough cards to FORCE an Election.

Is this Attack considered a "FULL PHL WELCOME".
We have the right to voice are opinions. we want the right to choose who represents us that is ALL we are doing. Whether we WIN or LOSE all we want is a fair chance. but some members of the IAM aren't going to let that happen.

I work for the IAM in PIT and I can guarantee you that we do not condone this behavior.In fact we have a meeting tomorrow and if the AGC from PHL condones this behavior , I will resign and try to help the TWU.
One thing , if you have less than 50 % of the cards signed , don't waste our time because we cannot risk de-certification.Then we are totally screwed.

Why is this a fight between unions? We both did not ask for this merger. The fight should be with the Company.
That is the absolute TRUTH!! Why not put aside any differences and work together FOR THE MEMBERSHIP is that not what unions are supposed to do!!

They are fighting to pay more union dues less work forces and the right to less representation!

This statement is a bit optimistic. Do you really think that the IAM AGC in PHL will admit to anything like this? I mean really...
It's only illegal if you get caught, and you can bet that the media statements coming from them will be rosy.
Put the screws to those that did this, and as always; watch the money.
As an added thought... Do we even know if it was IAM members that did this? Maybe they just miffed someone off walking down the street. Question had to be asked.
