We have seen these types of games before, we wont "be forced", but after stringing us along for over 15 years since the TWU promised to get it all back , nearly six years since "not being forced to give away retiree medical, freeze our pensions and more, we will, if the Association gets its way, get a package that improves our Medical, gets us paid holidays back, restores some of our sick pay, increases IOD days, BUT we have to also accept the IAMNPF as well instead of getting a 401K contribution like the pilots get.

NINE WEEKS AGO the union gave the company a comprehensive proposal, and WE STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS IN IT!!!!

"It has now been NINE WEEKS since your Negotiating Committee formally passed our
comprehensive Economic and Scope proposal across the table to the COMPANY.

Instead of responding with a reasonable counter-offer, or even intelligent questions, in informal discussions this week the company has chosen to continue the attack on our Scope and Economics, with new-company-guy Johnsen literally DEMANDING MORE CONCESSIONS, and back-tracking on previous commitments!

What’s the hold up?!?!? Why the sudden back-tracking?? Again, if the last comprehensive proposal of Parker and Isom was so great, why haven’t they put THAT out to the Membership, like United did? They sure can!!

Help us hold Parker & Isom to their promise by supporting your negotiating committee
in the fight for your company promised Industry Leading Contract!

Your Negotiating Team is ready, willing and able to negotiate at any time.""

They just aren't ready to tell us what we are fighting for.

Yes I have had enough, of Peterson undermining the process by giving away something without due process, no approval from the membership and getting nothing in return! Thanks for giving away more time for us to spend with our families!

And why is that Bob? Why are they keeping the membership in the dark?? That is the big question, is it not???

Yes hold them to their promises. Do not let them slide out of them.
Bob, AA is playing the all mighty nego play book. They are doing the exact same tactics as SWA has done to us. Tel your members to hold strong and do the wait out. We had to go up against 6 years to accomplish our goals, not sure how long you guys will have to go but it looks like you guys are heading down the very same roads we have been on for 5 years. Good luck Bob, I really hope I am completely wrong...

No matter how your bet comes out the IAMPF will be used as a tool to play to the membership.
The effort to save the IAMPF will cost the TWU membership in negotiable dollars.

The TWU has never shown compensation in negotiations.
Gary Peterson is probably within the rules as this is a Representative form of unionism.

You are not going to be forced into the IAMNPF

Enough with the misinformation already.

Buck have you watched yesterdays videos? They made it clear, the IAMNPF will be frozen. The IAM folks will move to the 401K under the current proposal. The IAMNPF was one of my fears as well. It looks like that is behind us now.

Herein lies the problem...The major IAM issues are their pension and medical....The IAM side will continue to stall negotiations. They are HALF the NC.....I am still concerned the TWU will bow down to the IAM and offer the IAMNPF in exchange for cheaper medical. The minority union controlling the majority until an actual vote takes place.

I want PETERSEN to tell all the members that WILL NOT HAPPEN....
I'll be waiting.

You do realize the Association and the members have to agree to that.

Company just can’t impose their terms.

And both sides are on the same page and unified.

Stop the fear mongering.

When the Association makes it clear the LUS medical and IAMNPF are off the table, then I will stop the fear mongering.

Why should it be off the table?

What’s wrong with better and cheaper health insurance?

What’s wrong with keeping the LUS people in the IAMNPF and offering it as a CHOICE to LAA people?
