TWU-IAM Association thread

Come on now flight attendants and pilots got theirs pretty quick. Ours should be a cinch throw a few chicken bones out and we fall for it every time.
With yes voters like WeAAsles....Why bother negotiating?

Straight from the Q&A!
http://twu514.org/blog/2013/05/14/questions-for-the-twuiam-alliance/

Q: Will I have the opportunity to vote on whether or not I am represented by the Association?
A: Yes. Following the completion of the American ? US Airways' merger, the Associations will file representation applications with the National Mediation Board (NMB), a federal agency, which will culminate in three separate elections, one for each of the Mechanic & Related, Fleet Service and Stores classifications. You will vote in the election of the classification in which you work with others from both carriers.

LIARS! And they are still blindly followed by some. Our pension is safe, they said so!

The argument could be (and probably will be) made that the merger is not yet complete.  After all they are talking about not combining the flight attendants into one group until something like 2017.  And, I don't think the merger of the pilots is going to be a walk in the park.  But, then you all had the opportunity to force an election by sigining cards for AMFA whether you supported AMFA or not.  Sufficient signatures would have forced an election under Federal law.

But, by not signing cards, you have chosen the Association by default because TWU and IAM weren't going to risk the loss of all that dues money by calling for an election.

What happened to the AMFA cards? I thought Rodgers and Kilbane were on the way over?
Your paid representative Lies to you and says you will get a chance to vote and this is the retort you come up with! GFY..

We waited 9 months for this spineless decision from our worthless government???

Yeah, everybody should be sure and thank those un-biased (joke) folks over at the NMB: Mary L Johnson & Maria-Kate Dowling.   These phonies know no bounds to the extent of their corruption.  9 months, good god the level of incompetence at the NMB is bad enough, this chicket shite decision just  takes the cake.

Trying to change the subject?  If you think this decision is somehow a victory of true democratic unionism (without a vote) then you really are hypocrite POS.
