Now the IAM is protesting on the idea that they too have possible forgeries and all you can say is "he said, she said" blah, blah, blah. And let's see, what was your other statement; Hmmm, thinking; oh yea "TOO LITTLE TOO LATE" You still are not refuting the idea behind forgeries at US. Matter fact your statements simply show that you are aware of the forgeries, but continue to dodge, spin and twist. Voting for any of these "non AMT unions" like the IBT, TWU, or IAM at this point would be a huge mistake. Don't listen to these "paid trolls" like Travis - a non AMT, or Anomaly - an AMT poser. These types have their own personal agendas, and are very self serving - not only for themselves - but their masters as well.

With AMFA there will be transparency, and accountability from the leadership. There is NO chance of that with any of these "all inclusive" dues collection agencies know as the Teamsters, IAM, or TWU. These are low class organizations that are just plain embarrassing to be associated with.

AMTs deserve better representation! Enough of settling for what some non AMT thinks he or she can negotiate for you! We need to get AMFA voted in via write in, or whatever it takes!

Look at UA and CO, ibt has failed there.

You state other reasons to your post but it is very obvious as they directly follow 700's postings of the possible forgeries at US, as well as the video discussing the forgery issues. Travis don't even try to tell me I am scared of the ibt. AMFA has beat down the ibt at SWA not only when we fired them OVERWHELMINGLY, AMFA took them and their attorney Josh M. to school 100% during the integration nego's between SWA and AT mechs. If you think your teamsters are so strong against AMFA in a head to head election, then write-in AMFA on the ballot and lets see. C'mon, don't be scared. BTW Travis; AMFA is currently working on bringing in another line of maint , if not 2 lines of "C" checks to be placed in ATL and or MCO. What is the teamsters doing at any carrier to bring maint in house?? NOTHING Travis absolutely NOTHING. The teamsters have the highest outsourcing of aircraft maint, mods and backshop work than any other airline out there. They were also the highest outsourcing union at SWA when they were here and was directly responsible for allowing outsourcing to out of the US at SWA with their non-restrictive language to allow the company to do so. They are also responsible for the unlimited outsourcing over at Continental. travis it goes on and on with the teamsters and will only get worse and you know it. You are simply a paid teamster organizer or just a stooge placed here to spread the lies and promises to TRY and help promote the teamsters. You are doing an outstanding job for them and you will be givin a job within the teamsters after all this is said and done, but it just won't be with the US group or the AA group after merger. Keep posting!!!

To be fair 700, I know that UPS does in fact farm out all "C" checks and above. I also think they will do lite "B" checks over night. Not positive on this but I will call a buddy that does the overnighters and ask. He's on the 13 hour 3 day work week so I may not get the answer until after this weekend as this is his work weekend. I could almost swear he called one a "B" check a while back, but it may have just been a RON check and he called it a "B" check as that it what it was called where we both worked together prior to UPS and SWA. If you find the info or already have it please let me know, thx...

UA deal is dead, nothing to do with the ibt at US, and at US M&R has the best scope language and does more work in-house than any TWU, AMFA or IBT represented Mechanic and Related work force.

Prove it. They may do more work, but the WN is higher paid and has better benefits. UPS under IBT is far superior to US IAM. And as Bob said you shouldn't go around touting "oh look our contract sucks less than AA TWU", IAM mechanic pay is awful and the what is even worse is how the IAM has allowed the concessions to be prolonged for a decade and counting.

CWA has lost plenty of jobs, and they are not staffed at every station US flies into, and they have no pension and their Piedmont employees have some of the lowest pay scales in the industry.

As has the IAM, At year end 2000 United Airlines had nearly 100,000 active employees and the IAM was the largest union on the property. US has downsized, IAM lost members. NWA has lost plenty of jobs even before they merged with DL. What's your point?

AS is a National carrier, the IAM represents upstairs as well as downstairs and the IAM won the arbitration against AS when they outsourced SEA Ramp.

All true and the same is true about UA. Just because they are a national carrier doesn't change the fact that the SCOPE they have is a essentially non-existent. Sure AS is not only a national carrier but increasingly an international carrier, doesn't change the fact the IAM scope sucks balls. And just because they won an arbitration shouldn't be considered victorious, how much else has the IAM given away at Alaska?

AA told TWA and its unions if it didnt waive their LPPs that they would not buy TWA and TWA would have gone chapter 7 and go out of business.

The APFA and the IAM had a deal which the APFA went back on and the IAM spent over $4 million in trying to fix it, as a matter of fact McCaskill-Bond law was put into effect because of what happened at AA and TWA.

The ramp and mechanic and related went to arbitration, the TWU CBA contains this language "No TWU member will be adversely effected in seniority in the event of a merger". To hard to comprehend that joshie?

It went to arbitration, its known as the Kasher decision if you care to read it.

All former TW employees at JFK, MCI and STL got 100% of their seniority, all others got 4/10/01 plus 25% of their TW time for bidding purposes only, they got full pay, vacation and retirement for their whole TW time for work at AA.

It was a neutral arbiter decision, not any deal the IAM nor the TWU negotiated.

I dont have to prove anything, WN only has 2.5 mechanics per plane, US has between 8 and 10.

UPS does NO heavy maintenance, so they have less mechanics per plane than US, they have 200 planes, with part-time mechanics and only do line maintenance and A and B checks which are line checks.

UA/CO has 701 planes and only have three lines of heavy maintenance in SFO and do mods in IAH and MCO, no heavy maintenance except for the three lines in SFO.

I guess you cant understand LPPs, Mohawk-Alleghany and chapter 11 and 7 in the industry.

You prove me wrong. I have all ready stated the facts.
