Teamsters filed at USAir for representation

Don't want to hazard a guess there TRAVIS?

Thats okay, I'll spare you the suspense.

The wage section for UAL "Lead Base" pay is misleading in that the ibt failed to notate that $1.00 Longevity Pay was already included in the $33.78 figure.

See Appendix:A Itm:B from our current agreement.

http://www.teamster....911MasterTA.pdf

When your math gave you $40.11 you just added Longevity Pay twice. Thats where you exposed Anomaly.

You see, while you, as a US Airways mechanic could be forgiven for not knowing our UAL CBA, Anomaly has no such excuse.

Each and every pay period here at UAL, mechanics receive a Pay Cert which clearly lists our current hourly rate. He has claimed to be a Midnight Line Lead Mechanic, so he should already have known this(and his current hourly rate). The fact that he came here claiming to be .... a pinch over $40... shows he either already knew his true rate and lied, or he is not a lead, but in trying to make an argument in support of the UAL CBA got caught making the same mistake that you did in arriving at $40.11. Either way, its a lie.

BTW the flyer is wrong in at least 2 other places, as neither Alaska or JetBlue has ever filed for bankruptcy.

I see the Alaska and JetBlue misprint for the BK as JetBlue was only on the verge. Also the filer is 9 mo. old and some wages have changed at some of the airlines like Alaska and US we got a rocking 3%.

I also see a IBT Negotiated Contract at UAL that has My Pay Beat By Around $5.00 an Hr and Better Benefits and with the cost of living around 7% a year the chump change 3% bumps that the IAM get's for us is BS.
We will stay at the bottom at that rate.
So even a pinch over $39.00 ($39.11) LOOKS GOOD TO ME plus the over time pay's and more Negotiated by the TEAMSTERS at UAL.

So all I hear out of you is bad mouthing the IBT, Why don't you tell me what AMFA did for UAL before AMFA WAS VOTED OUT and why they were VOTED OUT if AMFA is so good????

All I hear out of you boys is the AMFA Constitution lets you seat in on negotiations and my dues will be lower. OK I GET IT!
I can set on my a$$ and watch and afford to go to Mickey D's for brunch.

As far as my due's going up, A $5.00 an hr raise offsets that and that would Not Be A Industry Leading Pay Rate it would be a keeping up with the Jones's raise as that's how far we are BEHIND IN THE PAY CURVE WITH THE IAM/TWU..................

SO as I asked tell me about all your amfa "NEGO" improvements at UAL that were made BEFORE YOUR AMFA WAS VOTED OUT!!!!!
I can understand that you are a$$ chapped that your union at UAL was voted out in favor of the Majority Vote For IBT At UAL but get over it.

You don't work for AA or US and have not been through the Failed Representation as we have and for you to tell us to stay as we are!
You Got Some Brass Monkey Balls.

I VOTED IBT......

HAVE A HAPPY IBT DAY!!!

Chew Tobacco, Chew Tobacco,Chew Tobacco, SPIT

You have only been under an IAM CBA since 2008, and currently in Section 6 which has been delayed by the filing.

Your full of crap in what you say, the IBT at HP was the bottom feeder of the industry.

Travis do you really think you will get $40 an hour with AA when we merge?
What will you do if AA tells you or the union this is it. If you do not like it then go look elsewhere for your $40 an hour. Airlines are competitive but they have different cost structures. AA and USAir always ran a show string budget when it came to labor rates for the AMT's. What makes you think any union on the floor will change that? Unions have to protect seniority and benefits as well as enforcing the contract. If a company can not afford to pay you $40 an hour then that is it. What will you do then? Go on strike? Not likely. Things at UAL/CAL are still limbering along after how long? The IBT is having a very difficult time with that merger. What makes you think they will do better with our merger? I dissagree with the association crap but we were told we will have a vote on it. So my vote is NO association. The TWU and the IAM are afraid of losing membership dues if one concedes to the other. Too bad that is what happens in airline mergers. A concession is suppose to be a benefit for the members. But the IAM and the TWU as well as the AFL-CIO see it otherwise to keep the dues flowing without regards towards the members best interest.

I'm surprised that the IAM has actually produced and faked a flyer about seniority. It is hard to say who will win this election but the forgery seems like the IAM may be desperate.

I'm surprised the flyer even mentioned TWA since the workers who lost seniority were represented and later abandoned by the IAM.

Lol. Well, It sucked that the TWU hammered those TWA IAM members but Roach waiving scope/seniority protections at Crandall's insistence was classic IAM. I'm not sure if "I'll Ask Management" or PJ's "I am Management" fits better.

Crandall wasn't there then, it was Carty at that point.

With a mind set like That's why you AMFA boy's FAIL.
You do not have the common sense to look at whats ahead of you and if you stand by and wait for it more than likely it will have passed you by.
I know AA has been beat into the ground and no fight left in you guys just like most of the US guys here from Failed Representation from both the IAM and TWU.
If we just roll over as we have been doing under the IAM /TWU and take chump change so as you say they can just keep the dues flowing in we will always be the bottom of our Field.
Just wait till next year and you will see what the NEW American Airlines shows as profits.

Have A BLESSED IBT DAY

I have been reading up on the UAL IBT T/A CONTRACT and It looks like you can make a pinch over $40.00?????

[background=rgb(252, 252, 252)]article 15- compensation - The Taxi /Run Premium which is an additional $1.00 per hour pay. [/background]
[background=rgb(252, 252, 252)]That would take a LEAD A PINCH OVER $40.00 If what I'am reading is correct in the T/A.[/background]

Have A Nice IBT DAY.

It is not a mindset. It IS reality whether you like it or not it will approach us soon and smack you on the backside. AMFA has nothing to do with what has been going on here at AA since the 83 contract. Will you please get off the AMFA crap and deal with reality that is here at AA. Your responses are getting pathetic. If you want to use past practices then look at UAL/CAL with the Merger under the IBT. Not doing too good now is it? AA already has started to make changes in the workplace. Procedures, maintenance practices and policy for starters. It is only the begining. More will hit us in the coming months. $40 an hour at AA? Not likely. I see more concessions in work rules and higher out of pocket expenses in the future. One guarantee increase will be my dues if I am dumb enough to vote in a union worse than the TWU and IAM combined. Keep dreaming thinking the teamsters will save us from AA.

You mentioned Profits? Haven't you heard the TWU traded our profit sharing away for a 4.3% raise. You can take your profit sharing and do what you want because there will be no profit sharing thanks to the TWU.
