robbed, take the time and read it slowly.

We are talking about the mechanic and related at US who are IAM and get 50% pay for the first five days unless hospitalized.

We are NOT talking about Fleet Service which has a differant CBA and differant language.

This is true robbedagain.
:)

Yes but remember, Frank and Bill said this is the best contract ever not negotiated at any
airline in the us.. 50% of Sick pay is better than none.. Frank says so.. Remember.. Frank
always says "they can do that".

Well I never heard either of them said that.

But I will tell you those two were afraid PIT was going to be shut down and were willing to accept it.

The CLT and PHL people were against the piece of crap.

PIT is going to shut down. More to come.

Anyone that thinks or dreams for one min. that DP is going to bring back 500 mechanics
so they can bring in-house all of the S checks for the Airbus and the 50% of the AWA
737 fleet is dreaming and smoking crack!!

This was very clearly demonstrated when Frank and Bill told the media that 500 to 800
mechanic jobs would be brought back to PIT to accomplish all of the Airbus work in-house
which was immediately followed by a statement from US Airways TEMPE that said "Ah, no
we never said that, we have no idea what we are going to do and there are no guarantee's
that PIT will get any work"..

The investors have given DP a clear mandate. CUT costs as quickly as possible. Bringing in
500 mechanics and doing the work under roof is a cost item it is not revenue.

PIT's future is very dark. They are the oldest facilities in the system, can not accomodate all
of the aircraft in the fleet and PIT as a station is going to be reduced to a shadow of its former
self just like DAY, IND, GSO, SYR, BWI, LAX, SFO, SAN and CMH.

Hmmmm.......we also heard rumors that PIT was going to be shut down.

www.teamsterslocal104.org has the electronic version of the IAM contract.

Hmmmmm, someone had it available!

Just not the IAM Reps!

He forgets about all the layoffs at USAir in 92 and 93.. Probably before his time.. He probably thinks
Piedmont and PSA have always been express carriers!!!

Like I said, you will get one when you become an IAM member or better yet come to CLT or PIT and see the AMTs in action overhauling A320s and 737s.

We already got one!!!! Don't need to come to CLT or PIT to see AMT's in action.......

There is not one available electronically, is that so hard to understand?

Don't worry soon you will have your own personal copy when you become and IAM member.

There is one availbale electronically, is that so hard to understand?

Oh and don't worry, we have our own personal copy and we are not IAM members!!

My Quetion for all The Veteran's in Aviation Land Is When the N.M.B (National Mediation Board) Get's the Challenge of Mergeing the Two Contract's (UNIONS) and WE HAVE A VOTE,What Will The Contract LOOK LIKE?
That Is When We Should Be thinking of Getting out of the Sand Box AND Getting Organized and Start Producing a Fair Contract That The New US AIRWAYS can use to Benifit All Tech's. Like The Teamster's Have Been working on for the PAST TWO PLUS YEARS.
MWW
We Will ALL Have A New Contract Before this Is All Said And DONE,SO I fail To See why we are Hashing out So much of the Message BD's will all this It will not Matter after the TWO BECOME ONE.
Hopefully the NMB will not Write it for US.
