Airwoman that is just the point they do not want to admit that it is their membership that is fed up with them looking for a change, they look at the situation with tunnel vision. If a member shows a mind of thier own or has a different opinion that the "union" they are leaned on by thier own. I know I have been there and I am not imtimidated by them.
wrong..... ;)

All you have to do is listen to Frank S. and you will want to make changes.
Why is he still around. Thats right the same poeple keep voting him in. All 10 of them

thanks for supporting my point....

thats the same ten who will vote, all the others will be no votes by proxy and decert will prevail.

WRONG!!!thats the ten whom the IAM lets vote or the ten that the iam counts.
This is the reason why the Iam is so fearful of an election where they have no control over !!

i wouldn't go that far.....they're the ten that would vote ,the others don't give a damn anymore... ;)

I may have missed this, but is there an official % number of cards that the ibt filed with? I can't locate this information anywhere.

Dell have you ever noticed that those that are represented by the IAM always tell a different story than those that work for the IAM. If I am wrong with my previous post then why is that?

IF THIS IS THE INVOLVEMENT OF YOUR BELOVED IAM MEMBERS:
Why do you support them?
Why do you say they will not VOTE?
If there is no involvement by the members then wouldn't a change be better for all?

TIME TO GET OUT OF THE QUICK SAND AND VOTE IBT

not if 1200 furloughees and the rest of the working don't show up to vote and you get decert......

Why do you say they will not VOTE?

because after some 18 years I think I know the members quite well...thats all.

Its tough to get people to show up for a vote in regards to something that affects them directly, let alone show up for a vote that really does not matter to them.(i.e. furloughed employees who have no chance of returning to work at U)

do you remember the poor showings when giveback meetings were scheduled??
losing money and benefits and they were at work wanting to know from the stewards what went on at the meetings but weren't concerned enough to attend.can you believe that?

and a runoff is going to be any different?

they'll get enough votes,I got to go to the store....
