TA reached for TWU dispatchers and Ops specialists at AA

There was change to the way we do things and it will take some getting used to, but overall, yes, I like the deal. I am confident that it will pass by a large margin.

Thanks again Bogey and congratulations. It's been a long road and you're finally seeing the end of it after all these years. Looking forward to joining you on the other side.

Ours could very possibly have jobs outsourced and it would probably pass by the same 90%...sad!

They provided everyone a paper copy to everyone at the meeting and 80 percent of the membership showed up. The other 20 percent will get a copy in the office. No mention of a pdf

Bogey what was the percentage increase going up to Delta plus 3% for you?

For Fleet if we go up to the Delta plus 3% from where we are now it will be a 23% increase.

So the TWU didn't even get the same 401k language the Flight Atttendants got, which is miles better than just a 5% match.

I just want to ask the question , and mainly to any dispatcher that wants to chime in=

What, exactly, did you GET from these negotiations over and above what you already had before it was all taken away?
Let's keep in mind, we are currently making over $22 million a day.

Sick days= less than before cuts
Vacation= still less than before cuts
Health care= no improvement, or in other words, worse than before cuts

Pay= got what Parker said he would give, not a penny more.
And it basically takes us back to where we would have been if there had been no cuts, but there were cuts.
Pension= no improvement, and that = less than before cuts
Holidays= less than before cuts ( we had 2.5 x pay for holidays before cuts, now just 2x)

Someone please point out what the TWU brought back here in the era of multi Billions in profits per year in this negotiation, that we didn't previously have during a time when we made far less profits as a company?

History doomed to repeat itself?

You really expect to get everything back and more right after going through Bankruptcy no matter how much money the company is making right now? How much debt does AA still have on its books?

You want to be like some of the UAL groups who still haven't gotten a contract after their merger how many years ago now. How much have they been losing by putzing around?

When your deal comes in you should vote no. Then the company can hold off if they want until your contract expires in 2018, start negotiating and maybe in another 3 years or so you can ask for NMB assistance. Maybe you'll then finally get your deal in 2022? 1 year after the contract you turned down in 2016 would have expired.

History doomed to repeat itself. Seen this same story over and over my entire career.

Me personally, I got a 40 percent increase in pay. So two more sick days wasn't enough to hold out for. I would have liked to see more 401k. But I'll just invest more of that 40 percent raise in maxing my 401k, doing the catch over age 50 and maybe a Roth.

40%? That's it? How dare they those horrible monsters. VOTE IT DOWN......

Our local negotiators worked hard. Did we get everything I wanted, no, we didn't. But it will be nice for the first time in a long career where I won't have to say or hear, "we'll get em next time".

Exactly. Again Bogey congratulations. Don't let some of these guys on forums rain on your parade.
