TA reached for TWU dispatchers and Ops specialists at AA

I would call that the first red flag.
Maybe I'm out of line thinking the match should,
1) be changed to a contribution
2) be increased to at least what the Flight Attendant's got (9.9% for 5 years if over 50)
I mean after all the company only made over $10 Billion in profit the last 2 years and will make multi billion profit this year.
Our compensation is being closely tied to Delta.
They just received a very large pay raise , in addition, they increased their 401k match, now around 9%.
A 5.5% match would be disappointing, and disturbing, and, I might add a preview of what the mechanic group can expect the TWU to capitulate to.
I wouldn't throw up anything yet until we see the full text agreement. Maybe it's more. I just don't know for sure.

A 5 year contract....
Any percentage increase year after year or are you stuck with the same pay for five years ???????

Why would you think they wouldn't have yearly increases if every other contract out there has them?

That would be a deal breaker for me.  They did it for the FAs they can do it for all of us.  We lost our pensions too.

They are having an information meeting this Thursday, they will provide full text at that time.

Ratification vote will be April 14th.

Not everyone will be happy.

As the saying in my office goes,,,, you can give something the winning lottery ticket and they would ***** that they had to drive to Austin to pick up the money.
