they "hope" they can reschedule. She should have rescheduled immediately if she had an intentions of holding a town hall meeting. Just guzzle a bottle of the CRAP wine you serve onboard SS before the meeting...the kick in the stomach by the employees won't feel so bad.

I agree. She should have sent us a message explaining why she can't make it, apologize for it, and reschedule it immediately with the date, time, and location included. In addition, invite us to send her questions or issues we would like to bring up so she will be prepared. Unfortunately that's not how people run things around here. Remember, these aren't professionals.
 
The whole inflight experience has her hands all over it. Now what IF and thats a big IF many had rearranged THEIR schedules to attend this little jackass session? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm? Screw her and her carts. I honestly don't care WHAT they do or HOW they do it. Ya want the ice on top? I'll put THREE buckets up there side by side. You want food in coach but NOT in first? I'll go OUT of my way to walk through and ask if anyone would like to BUY one up there and also give them Sherri's email address DIRECT. This is BS and she is BS. Etops I know your in her focus group and have to keep it semi cordial. I on the other hand like many don't need to lick ANY boots.
 
Etops- I see your call to inflight was fruitful. I know what you were told but this place is clueless. Please, a majority of the people in that office can't even tell you how to claim jury duty properly and it's written right in the contract. I got wind she was bailing yesterday and as usual the left hand didn't know what the right was doing. SHOCKING! Back to Where Does My Ice Go?...Already In Progress

i am really f##in pissed about this. beachboy i am sorry i gave you misinformation but i called the inflight office and jeff ayers told me she did not cancel . i should have e-mail sherri myself to verifi. i am going to e-mail her now and tell her that this is very dissapointing and that the f/a were looking foward to this meeting. sorry dude.

And it's oh so interesting the email canceling from Andrew S in inflight. It kept saying "I" failed to see the conflict. "I" apologize. Take a big SNIFF as something is rotten in Denmark. More to this story.
Sherri not showing is no shocker. She has no real answers just hot air.

i wish someone would freakin buy us already. but that's probrably not going to happen neither.

I agree.I know he tries and that he cares, but it is time to face reality. She's a cowardly boob --just like her bosses. But, the bigger boobs are the ones that continue to buy into the spin and empty promises.

hey, i like boobs :D . no seriously though. i am not stupid . i know things are bad around here but my parents always taught me to look at the brighter side of things although the bright side of this company burnt out a long time ago. this company has so much potential . it's just really frustrating.

Funny she has NO PROBLEM showing up to the wine tasting to get her and her big face in the newspaper. God forbid try to do something constructive and fix the absolute mess that she had a hand in creating. Oh wait there is that pesky word constructive, whoops right up there with proactive. I forgot they have no clue what those words mean. Maybe somebody in the know can contact the media about how they never can seem to show up to something unless it spells recognition or money for them.

As the VP of Inflight Operations, Shambles should have the answers to any legitimate questions from Flight Attendants on the spot or should know her resources to quickly find the answers to our questions in an expeditious manner. If she was truly in-touch with the operations of Inflight Services (besides making sure the supervisors are making their write-up and suspension quotas) then she really would not need to be "prepared."

To me this shows how clueless she is about the misery and frustrations that our Flight Attendants are going through every day we show up to work. :down:

I agree she SHOULD have the answers but we all know she doesn't...I don't want to waste my time rearranging my schedule and coming to her meeting just to listen to her stumble her way through without providing any straight answers as a result of her not knowing what is going on around here. She is very incompetent but as long as she's collecting a paycheck and is able to get away with it there is nothing we can do. She simply doesn't care and furthermore she just doesn't get it! Who does Shambles report to anyway? Who is her boss? I don't think anybody around here gets it except us frontline employees!
