Lock out? When the keys are surrendered how does that constitute a lock out? Ok, surrendered isn't the right word here. When the keys are THROWN at the LECP by the LECVP who is having a temper tantrum, I don't think that is really a "lock out".

I'm not a huge fan of either person in PHL.

As an outsider with a few "ins" I think that the current LECVP is a flawed individual prone to lash out, but she is essentially honest and tries to do the right thing.

LA on the other hand, based on some PM's I've gotten along with "sources" lead me to conclude the opposite regarding her conduct.

I've no hard evidence to support either honestly just a perception on my part. Happy Employees make for Happy customers and since I'm in the later group I take an interest.

Piney, you are indeed entitled to your opinion however flawed I may think it is. The current LECVP is far from honest and above board. She will do "the right thing" if and when it serves her agenda, which is not very often. Her lack of integrity, vindictiveness and self importance are crystal clear on this board.

Who doesn't have their faults? Terry is one of the most caring people I have ever met. I have seen her cry for the Flight Attendants at USAirways! You will be far pressed to find someone with her drive and passion for what she does. She knows it's a thankless job and accepts it for what it is. If she would have run for LECP she would have won hands down in PHL. Did you know LA had only about 260 votes in a base of 2000 and won! Take a look....

She is a dictator at best and to even put Terry in the same realm as LA turns my stomach. OK, while SOME on here (1 or 2) defend L.A. and have NOTHING to say good in regard to Terry ask yourself THIS, What has L.A. done for the members of PHL? Especially as of late? I don't think you could possibly think of anything. She doesn't even communicate with her members. She pastes elines and sends them out as local 70 emails. It's a friggin joke. Honestly WHAT on planet earth has she done to KEEP her position? Answer THAT one. Let me get my coffee and kick back for this one.....

Frankly I think the biggest problem with PHL and the AFA is the fact that a huge percentage of F/A's based there commute. I never knew this, but thanks to these boards I now know.

I also found out that a relatively large group of Senior F/A's formerly at PSA, still commute to PHL from points on the west coast. In fact I think that the LECVP in question is indeed one of them which may explain the fricton.

the LECVP maintains a house here in PHL (owns a house I should say....), and spends precious little time in CA anymore. The last month I flew with her, she spent 3 nights the entire month in CA. Don't think geography is the issue.

It's obvious Hula has some personal issues with her, but his/her assessment is way off. She would do absolutely anything to help a FA, both personally or thru the company.

I do not want to be in the same cabin for 9 hours with LA or JA I figured that it was not worth my time. I never flew nor cared for her before and I am sure that she, as she so stated to me that she always KNEW that I would turn on her. Poor LA she acts so pitiful great act!!!!!!!You can try to change a situation but all along I knew that I had to prepare for the worst. LA does not Trust anyone but herself and her view of others is so pitiful.

I've already posted this in a much earlier thread. PHL f/as need to pay more attention. Its now the largest base and they need to be proactive, or the company will just steam roll over them, whereby effecting all the f/as in the system.

I have to just shake my head that LA would become the President of such an important large base as PHL. Flight attendants better pay more attention to the talent they recruit and vote for.
