With the website up and running, any rough estimate as to how many more signatures have been received? I know it was just brought online so I'm not expecting hundreds. Way to go by the way. AGAIN....not many out there supporting and defending anymore. Isn't that interesting?
Maybe, Maybe not. The only thing you know for sure is your current president needs replaced. Stay focused on that then deal with other official's either positively or not. How far along are you brothers and sisters in this process? Have you called your LECP and told her you would like her removed and have signed a petition to that effect? If not, why not? She's supposedly there to represent you. She's not immune, get off your ass and take your union back or your slide will be long and hard. 🙁

Also looks like the VP when her as you say cage gets RATTLED!!!! She came out with an apology letter for attacking flight attendants in one of the former elines. A bit to late. So VP keep getting those signatures and then we will do the next step too!!!!

Dear Philadelphia Based Flight Attendants:
I am asking you to sign a statement to have enough votes (650) to call for a Special Meeting of this Council to hear the charges leveled against Laura Albert. It was never my intention to react in the fashion this has taken however there was no other way to shake the Political Machine that works primarily for the chosen few. I will never tolerate verbal abuse, massive distrust or the avocation of discipline by a union official. At that point I had no other choice but call a Special Meeting of the Council. Our Secretary/Treasurer Mariellen Horgan concurred Ms. Albert's violations were serious enough to warrant the meeting and a letter was drafted by us two Council Officers as provided by the Constitution and Bylaws of Association of Flight Attendants -CWA..It was no surprise that like mice, they scramble to block the calling of a meeting. GO FIGURE ! The Constitution says we can do it however, this is not the way is has done and "shhshhshhh" it's a secret until you ask for it. I was also told I would be provided the past history in which these issues were raised......STILL WAITING. Don't let your voice be stifled and drowned out. There are 2 more years left on Ms. Albert ,Ms. Graf and Ms. Hogan's term. A very crucial time because this merger will proceed regardless and you will either be blind sided or you will know the consequences of the package so you could argue it in a legal court. You the members are the leaders of this union and have the power to put who you want representing you in place. I will not go away with all of you thinking that I was part of your dreams being dashed. This is a passion for me just like all of you like your life style. Go to www.recalllaura.com.
View the charges against Ms. Albert and although not accepted yet by the Gargoyles at AFA they are very serious. Think about the consequences of sitting on the side lines and then think of what you all deserve. Be Patient and Courteous.

And the way you just wrote this is what I am talking about. You need to learn how to speak to the ones that put you in office in the first place. The way that you attack others when you hold the position (VP) that you do should be better than that. Hard to support one that has such a Dr. J and Mr. H personality.

I will never stand still as you say to me that I am working my own demise. I have told all of you that it is OK just sign the form. Regardless of who you support, wouldn't it be better for Council 70 just to schedule a meeting to consider the recall issue. Even if a majority of those present vote for recall, all that does is send the issue out to the whole membership of Council 70 to vote. Let the chips fall where they may.

However, it may be that the MECP(East)is in bed with LA, so to speak. :unsure: Still not sure why everyone thinks so small, hell it's your union. Are these elected officals considered Nobles as in Braveheart? It's time for the members to fight back. Don't stop with the PHL LECP. If this recall is being challenged by anyone, and I mean anyone, remove him (or her) too!

If your union is this screwed up, I believe a recall is probably only a starting point. It seems you have people in office that are not interested in the membership but only in themselves. Very much like politicians. Shake them up, clean house, remove this woman. Try hard to find some GOOD people who have others best interest at heart. It will not be easy to do.
