Question Convience Us?

What is clear Mr. Owens, is that after your dismissal you have turned to typing rhetoric to your few followers. You may consider either limiting your posts to 300 lines or consider multiple posts. Is this your "outlet" Mr. Owens? Suffering from the inability to attract -SNIP-

<<<< Can you believe this coward calling himself team twu has degenerated into personally attacking Mr. Owens?? Rather than answer the legitimate questions and sticking to the issues he and his kind plumb the depths using character assasination... The truth of the matter is Mr. Owens frightens you with inside knowledge and truth gleaned from exposing what goes on within the upper levels of twu and you must get to him on some level.. The truth is also evident in that you have nothing positive to offer other than canned slogans and mantras such as '' get involved'' '' loaf of bread cost same from me and my brother'' ''we can change from within'' ''strength in numbers'' ''injustice to one is injustice to all'' and so on... Wonder if the 3000 or so guys who did not get pin numbers for your phony
concession vote feel as though an injustice occured.. Fact is when you strip away all the cute retoric it becomes obvious what twu really has accomplished during its tenure at AA.. Early on I asked straight forward legitimate questions to list the gains twu has afforded us during the last 20 years at AA period... I've been watching since 1989 and have seen nothing but concessions, what am I getting for my money??? Please don't tell me to read the twu excuse er I mean express or look at the twu calender with pics of smiling bus drivers or guys giving us the finger ( yes thats on the 2002 edition and says alot about twu professionalism) Again I am asking you to stick to the issues and DO NOT engage in personal attacks as this goes nowhere... All of you attending the twu/AA Christmas party be sure to chew the chicken fried rat well
SEE YOU GUYS LATER- happy holidays to you and your families, God Bless..

What has amfa done in the last 90 days to bring members back to work or settle contracts?
I started this thread about 2 months ago, Amfa has encluded in their legacy a 2 billion dollar contract at United and now has ensured the lose of jobs at NW with the continued outsourcing of work. I have looked thru these comments and as of yet amfa wantabes are not informed about the cause they are fighting. Is this the blind leading the blind or is it a cult type atmosphere? You have to decide if this is the avenue to take? Representation is non existance from my vantage point!

At the rate amfa is allowing outsourcing to continue if they were ever to get in at AA you can rest assured we will be walking the unemployment line within a short period of time!!!!!!

You answered your own question, which was "What has amfa done in the last 90 days to bring members back to work or settle contracts"

And now you make a big deal out of the lost force majeure grievance number 1.

Is taking the use of force majeure to violate the job security provisions "fighting to bring members back"?

Oh, how the internet keeps a history on your claims!

And dont forget, the UAL Engine Work was outsurced by the IAM in 2001!

Here is PROOF:

Who currently represents the mechanic's at United? Then why not post documents that is showing them fighting to retain the work?

The IAM allowed the heavy maintenance to be excluded from the 20% farmout cap, and they did this just as they were going out the door.

What would you want AMFA to do? When the IAM leaves behind language that allows the work to be outsourced, then what "fight" to you want to bring?

Should they bring a trailer, US flag, and a coffin to the front of their maintenance base and put the pictures on the internet? Would that be classified as "putting up a fight" in your mind?

CIO, I am surprised you do not know who represents the mechanics Craft and Class at United Airlines. It was july-14-2003 that AMFA won representation rights to United. It was the third time in 10 years that United Airlines mechanics and related employees had campaigned for a change in representation and finally received their right to vote and won, beating the NMB, IAM, AFL-CIO and Company. (Makes me wonder if AMFA had the help of a TeamIAM such as we do).

AMFA Wins at UAL.

Here is AMFA fighting for the retired personnel in the Technicians and Related Personnel classification.

Yeah, how dare you CIO, the loss of FM1 wasn't a big deal. Those jobs were gone the day those boys walked out the door, or voted AMFA in, whichever came first...nice job there TeamAMFA...with their expertise the retirees best hold on to their Depends...

"They can do that".
