Piling on a persons personal life should be off limits

I don't bother with this forum much at all, it's my past, but: When I heard the radio telling me about Doug I knew this forum would be climaxing, and it is. Look in the mirror people, not one of you are any better and in fact a hell of a lot worse. But you will never admit that [fact]. This is why the good Lord talked about the plank in your own eye. The author of this topic is dead on whether that eats your gut or not, he is.

Oh..BTW..Happy Retirement To Ya!! Bah!! Bah!! :)
Thanks - retirement is still the greatest thing since sliced bread as far as I'm concerned. It's even got the added bonus of not running into those who are so busy putting the company and it's exec's up on a pedistal that they fail to see the clay feet....except here, of course.

US Airways' Parker Arrested in Drunken-Driving Case

Under Federal Aviation Administration rules, pilots are required to report to their airline any similar arrests or convictions while off duty, and can have their medical and flying certificates suspended at least temporarily. If arrested while on duty, their flying certificates are revoked.

The rules cover airline employees in direct contact with crucial safety aspects of a carrier's operations, and Parker doesn't fall into that category, FAA spokesman Les Dorr said.

He is a public figure, he is a CEO of a major Airline, he has been all over the news about the attempted merger.

He was representing US Airways at the FBR.

There is nothing personal about him getting busted for the FOURTH Time for DUI.

I mean that shows he has not learned from his past experience.

And it is not personal when every major news outlet reported what happened and he lied and did not come clean until the media reported it.

His first statement even said he said he was not drunk, a BAC of .096 is drunk.

And it takes more then three beers to get that BAC level.

Take off the doug colored glasses and let reality sink in.

700UW,

Your comment above is typical for a person like you. You never, never have written anything good about US Airways, period. For you it is always, always negative.

You must have missed the topic of the thread because it's not about "Take off the doug colored glasses and let reality sink in". It's about kicking a person when they're down or as I said, "Piling on a persons personal life should be off limits."

That is my point. In case you missed it, I said people should be held accountable for their actions; however, everybody is human and good people show empathy.

I believe you and others like what happenend to Doug Parker, which is truly because you seem to find joy in another persons problems.

P.S. I think people should treat one another like they want to be treated. For example, if somebody drove a Lav Truck or was a lavman and they had a personal problem, I would not make it public and would I find empathy with the problem. By the way, can you tell me what EAP means?
