Walmartgreeter,

You're a hypocrite. You discuss personal names here on this forum, but if your name is used you take offense to personal information being said about you. In fact, you "wine" to the Board Managers (when something is said personal about you); however, you seem to enjoy Doug Parker's DUI charge and kicking somebody when they're down.

That's truly, truly sad and speaks volumes about your identity.

Today's DUI incident has nothing to do with a lost pension, lost retiree health care, or the current contract talks. It has to do with a man and his family and to kick him when he is down shows a persons true character.

Separately, how many people have been drunk in college? How many airline employees have been drunk before? How many people have made a mistake before. Doug Parker is human just like the rest of us and should be treated with respect, just like the rest of us. For those who lack respect and decorum, if you do not present it how do you expect to receive it?

Best regards,

USA320Pilot

"Doug Parker made a mistake by speeding and drinking 3 beers prior to the DUI event. Everybody makes a mistake and he is human just like the rest of us."

As usual, you do not have a clue. Do you have any idea of the trauma this company has caused to the those in need of medical care. UnitedHealthCare is not paying up. Do you think a pilot on his 4th DUI would have his rehab paid? Time for Parker and his like to resign, especially after the shame of their total misread of the DAL takeover, what a fiasco.

Goodbye Doug, I only wish you could take 320 with you on your walk of shame.

Cheers, Greeter.

Walmartgreeter,

What you do not get, public figure or no figure, is that the loss of a pension, pay and benefits, and healthcare has nothing to do with an individuals personal life.

Grow up and stop being so mean-spirited by kicking a man when he is down. You're no better than your buddy John Brookman. By the way, would you care to be honest on this forum and tell us why John Brookman is not flying, since you're very close to him? Why not kick him while he is down and still representing the PIT pilots. I bet you do not have the "guts" to tell the truth.

Regards,

USA320Pilot

Is this thread about piling on Doug Parker or is it the latest A320 bash fest?
As usual all threads turn off subject and go into personal attack mode.
Whats new? its Usairways forum. 12,000 topics and over 200,000 replies.
What a joke

With each new thread about this it becomes easier to see who is management and management wannabee's VS the hourly grunts, whos butts would have been hauled to the curb if this had become a media event with them.

I demand respect based on my performance, not on my weaknesses. We have people with family members that are terminal fighting the "system" to get proper, and deserved medical care, and you want to defend a habitual drinker (4 DUIs...is that corrrect, even by half?) As to going to the moderaters here, that is a lie, and I even emailed you as to your false fears. I have never been "drunk" in my life. How about that. Had I been, would that excuse my actions? Doug Parker has shown the 20+ years pilots of U NO respect, whatsoever. Goodbye Doug, and goodnight 320.

Is this thread about piling on Doug Parker or is it the latest A320 bash fest?

Its a combo...Bonus!

Piling on a guy’s personal life should be off limits and serves no useful purpose. For those who enjoy taking “pot shotsâ€￾ at Doug Parker or anybody else who makes a serious mistake, I believe you're a sad, sad person who does not understand empathy.

USA320Pilot
So USA.............
You go home and smoke some pot. It's your personal life right?

Wrong.

I wouldn't want my family on your airplane even if you hadn't done it in a few weeks (I'm not implying that you smoke at all). You are in a position of responsibility and I along with hundreds of other people would expect you to live up to that responsibility. When I go out to dinner and have a glass of wine, I have someone else drive. Parker could have taken a cab, had someelse drive, or called a friend.

Get a clue, this guy is the CEO of a major company.

Throw the book at him. If he doesn't have the COMMON SENSE to not drive a car after he has been drinking, he shouldn't be running an airline.

Let me out...let me out....

This is for you Delldude...

Walmartgreeter,

You seem to measure respect but what you get, not what you give. Treating people with respect has nothing to do with pay and benefits. Pay and benefits surrounds labor negotiations where two parties obtain a deal. In the case of US Airways East ALPA, the pilots have a deal for at least 3 more years and the company is honoring that. the challenge: you do not like the deal and guess what, nor do I.

What you do not get is that it is wrong to insult people, lack decorum, or kick them when they're down. I believe you should be glad you have a job with union protection, otherwise, you would be fired by most corporations.

What I do not get is if you hate it here so much why not quit? I bet you do not have the "guts" to quit because it is easier to be bitter and angry, fight?

Regards,

USA320Pilot

Now, 320, your making it worse by exaggerating. While dougie may have been with college buddies, he acquired these offenses between ages 25 and 30's. Hardly college. If you read the second release, its vague on purpose. The guys an adult. And while folks make mistakes all the time, I'd think a person whose achieved Chairman of a legacy carrier overseeing 35,000 employees would not act like a pompous ###.

Its a lesson in humility, my friend.

I consider it a humbing event. And if it were you or I on our 4th offense as adults, it would be a felony, and YOU couldn't hold employment in this industry.

Come on USA320Pilot!
The guy was drunk and driving a car! This was THE 4TH OFFENSE!!! You of all people should realize how dangerous that is and the consequences of just really bad judgement. Somebody could have been killed.

Later,
Eye

Your An A$$!!

Just hit Pittsburgh local news...very photogenic.

Your An IDIOT!! Your Were As A Union Rep As Well!!!
