You know - you are really full of s++t .... By no means did anyone that was furloughed want to be... It was not anyones choice to be out on a furlough... That is what DOH is used for, you don't bump anyone until you are recalled and then you bump up to your DOH for bidding and not for pay and vaca... so you are telling me that if your company laid you off and then merged and things were getting bright and sunny again and you wouldn't expect your unionized job back ait your original start date... thats bs.... Let me tell you something else it has been no sit on the beach... If that is what you think then you are sadly mistaken... and furthermore why do you care? I started in 1-2000 and you are telling me i should only have three years for bidding... b/c i was involuntarily laid off due to restructuring and reorg... you obviously aren't aware of this topic or knowledgeable enough to even comment - as you have noticed my comments have been right on the money - I am telling what is factual and what i know to be true and not trying to doctor things up so it looks all pretty on the outside and nasty on the inside - these people don't need to think the people that are coming over are only getting credit for the time they spent on property.... that is a lie... that only pertains to pay and vacation... and not only that manyof us were there for 4 years and chose to go to MidAtlantic... in casr you have forgotten.. we carry a mainline manual.. work under the mainline operating certificate, and are being shafted by being paid less and working under less desirable work conditions and getting shi++ier insurance etc., and that was supposedly done so the company could survive and you want to rape us of our time and hard effort.... CLUE YOU NEED TO GET A CLUE... I don't think you realize what the invols have done for this company and we are techinically on property and working under the mainline certificate and are considered on furlough . .. . GET A GRIP !!!
And just so you know that is why we are hired on under a contract and just so you know all the HP flight attendants keep their DOH as well b/c they were hired on and are part of the afa as well.. So if it was a reverse situation they would be protected the same as me.. These people need to quit bashing the AFA look at northwest now they want to sign up... This isn't any other industry than the airline industry and we work under different conditions and circumstances than a nine to five... It will always be a different world...
The only one embarassing theirself is you by not posting factual comments about what is happening.... you obviously don't have your facts straight so it is hard to even have a discussion with you ... And BTW you should be sticking up for you fellow furloughed f/as you pansy!!!

Nice name calling!! It's funny you have no idea what I know. And you know what in case you forgot, I was furloughed and I very much stick up for EVERYONE that has a stable head on their shoulders. You're forgetting that I'm senior to you (not by too much) so I stand to lose even more than you, I'm just saying what I think is fair and I know many might disagree but these people have paid their time too and sorry but being furloughed is not paying your time. Instead of walking around with some big attitude when I was furloughed, I put that energy to use and worked my way up to a higher position and gained some experience that I bring back to the line. I could care less as long as I am credited for the time that I have been active (yes I feel that my MDA time should be credited to but if it's not I'm not going pitch a fit and remain bitter about it). Now I'm finished with this I've stooped low enough. If I'm wrong about our credit for active years then I'm wrong and I'll admit it but I still have a right to believe what is fair because it effects me too.
