It didn't work and it cost you dearly. Keep the USAPA Lanyard, when you figure out how much they've cost you, you'll need it to hang yourself.

Junior, the premise of a union is that pilots are dissatisfied and can thus be exploited by a select few that ingratiate themselves into "leadership" positions promising to alleviate the dissatisfaction.  
 
The "leaders" of Leonidas, LLC are more adept than USAPA leaders ever hoped to be.  An LLC is a for-profit organization.  Figure it out (unless of course you are one of the "leaders" here to promote a constant west pilot dissatisfaction )
 
Unions were divided when I got here, and they will be divided when I leave... and I don't have the stomach to "play" my fellow pilots for my own profits.

Because I personally talked to Andy Hunt and Jay and I asked them to clarify the following statement as to exactly who they were referring when stating "BPR":
 
Unfortunately, recent actions by members of the BPR in knowingly disseminating false information to our pilots make it clear that the governing body lacks the integrity our pilots deserve. We refuse to be a part of any of that, and so we feel duty-bound to resign from the Ballot Certification Committee.
 
This is part of a response I got from Andy:  
 
What you probably don't know is that the BCC has no authority to but all the responsibility (sound familiar?) to run these ballots. It has proven to be very frustrating to say the least that one or another political faction (read Reps) wishes to influence the outcome every time! Jay, Wes and myself have simply had enough. The personal and professional attacks by certain individuals have gone too far too often. It's just not worth the time and sacrifice both we and our families make to put up with such petty crap.

Yes.  The statement they sent to me is that they are quitters.  When the going gets tough, the BCC runs like hell.
 
They should have simply done their jobs and refused contact with the players and their politcs.  Just don't answer the phone, email or SMS until the results are in.  They should have simply put their fingers in their ears and chanted: "LALALALALALALALA" until January 8, and accepted no direction from anyone other than themselves.  
 
Maybe it would have gotten them fired (but I doubt it.)  But they could have then walked out the door instead of slinked.
