What is mind boggling to me is after Randy Canale the damage he did at UA/US and now Delaney's regime why won't the DL 141 membership demand accountability from their officers and AGCs? Like most other things is it simply apathy among the membership?

Why don't you ask Tim who spearheaded to get Canale out and Delaney elected and what reward was given?

I could care less, I'd like some integrity and honesty something painfully lacking in wake of the UA deal.

You should ask who pushed Canale out, who got Delaney elected, what the reward was for it and how that person operated.
 
Buying and handing out gift cards to get an A-Card signed, and lots of other shady things.

Everyone seems to have an axe to grind. I think we know who spearheaded what and how it turned out. Remember you said " The NC didn't vote the TA in, the membership did " or something like that. Well, we the membership voted Delaney in. Does that not correlate ? Anyway, it's about what has come to fruition that we all are concerned about and Tim has pointed it out. Is it political ? IDK TBD, but its been realized. Which is the disturbing part. But thats UA and this is US. Different animals from the same zoo.

Bartz and Klemm certainly mislead the membership. Keep in mind though; Bartz and Klemm answer to and take direction from the DL 141 Leadership. Puppets on strings so to speak.  Make no mistake about it... the UA agreement was fully endorsed by the leadership at DL 141. This should be troubling to any dues paying member under DL 141 leadership.

I could not agree more however some here seem to think the leadership is above reproach much less question. Some are just mindless drones the other clearly getting a check from them.

You tell me company boy. Prove your accusations. Got a link that shows people received gift cards for signing authorization cards? Explain why the IAM is squandering existing dues payers resources on lavish parties for the Delta F/As like the one recently held in NYC? That is not right now is it? Kev has said it isn't right DL holds parties after training but that people "dig free stuff" so why does the IAM hold those events?

I would just like to add that they dont have to lie or agree with delaney. It was the choice of the entire eboard to unanimously recommend that anti labor ua agreement and the idiots recommended it based on a highlight sheet.
When i was working with the iam, delaney made it clear that it was "his way, his way, or his way", and although anyone could disagree with him, if you did so you would get delaneys wrath of assignments. He changed ka assingments and informed the whole eboard that if you F with him then he will send you to represent stations far far from home.
Whatever the case, the elected officers are suppose to answer to the membership, not lie to them.

We have to keep things honest since usairways members still have a chance as they havent completed the current contract talks and joint talks havent begun. We have opportunity to keep things accountable with upcoming elections. The united members have already been hosed and betrayed and im fairly certain they want to clean house.

When does Delaney's term end? I imagine he will likely decide to 'retire' whenever that happens given he likely wouldn't survive an election.

So a pilot comes into the breakroom and says that the slots lost in LGA, DCA, etc. will be a movement of aircraft and that CLT will benefit along with PIT.  Why PIT??  He said the pilot bid has 30 more Pit segments.  is this a pilot rumor or is PIT getting more flights?
