I don't have to explain anything to you since you do not work for AA, USAir, represented by the TWU or the IAM. Your just a ex employee who left the aviation industry and wants to show everybody how much you know and did as a stock boy. You have no fight in this battle anymore unless it's with WT.

Like I thought, more made up stuff and lies from you.

You and your fellow mechanics have had 52 years to rid yourselves of the TWU.

Time for you and others to take personal responsibility, your fellow brothers and sisters voted in each CBA, you have no one else to blame except yourselves, but hey none of you will ever admit it.

You just failed again a month again, lol!

So by lunchtime tomorrow the twu and iam should have their differences worked out and should be prepared to meet with the company after lunch. Will be looking for my ballot in the mail on friday!

I am curious if any of you know what AGENCY FEE is?

Before 700 starts posting his cut-n-paste junk about this post I will try to intervene,
No union can use any part of our dues for political purpose.
Wages have been on the rise.

and I think thats as far as i'll go
Wow, the TWU really did a mind job on you.

Nailed it.

What is the normal length of a IAM contract?

I believe the TWU prefers a six year deal....

It hardly matters. If it were a six year deal the company would try to stall and turn it into a 10 year deal.

Yes, but I was just trying to get a hold on traditional IAM philosophy

                                                                        1991 – 3.5 yrs

1995 – 6 yrs (same as Pilots who added 1 addl yr for 2% inc
which was rejected by TWU Intl & AA Pres Council)

It has done plenty. Not really. Nothing beneficial for it's members which is what I meant by it does nothing.

It has used your UNION dues to fund political agendas. To no benefit of the members.

It has consistently lowered your compensation for years for the benefit of shareholders and upper management. Not defending the twu but actually the company does that.

TWU has become nothing more than a way to exercise political and financial control over the membership. Control? How do you figure that? Most of the people I work with are all company no matter how they are treated. Kinda like battered wives.

TWU is control. See above.
