I don't have to explain anything to you since you do not work for AA, USAir, represented by the TWU or the IAM. Your just a ex employee who left the aviation industry and wants to show everybody how much you know and did as a stock boy. You have no fight in this battle anymore unless it's with WT.700UW said:So the higher ups got bribes to make you vote yes?
Explain how that works.
Wow, the TWU really did a mind job on you.bob@las-AA said:Before 700 starts posting his cut-n-paste junk about this post I will try to intervene,
No union can use any part of our dues for political purpose.
Wages have been on the rise.

It hardly matters. If it were a six year deal the company would try to stall and turn it into a 10 year deal.Buck said:What is the normal length of a IAM contract?
I believe the TWU prefers a six year deal....
Yes, but I was just trying to get a hold on traditional IAM philosophyLa Li Lu Le Lo said:It hardly matters. If it were a six year deal the company would try to stall and turn it into a 10 year deal.

La Li Lu Le Lo said:It has done plenty. Not really. Nothing beneficial for it's members which is what I meant by it does nothing.
It has used your UNION dues to fund political agendas. To no benefit of the members.
It has consistently lowered your compensation for years for the benefit of shareholders and upper management. Not defending the twu but actually the company does that.
TWU has become nothing more than a way to exercise political and financial control over the membership. Control? How do you figure that? Most of the people I work with are all company no matter how they are treated. Kinda like battered wives.
TWU is control. See above.
