So why in 52 years haven't been able to change representation?

in the Association that has very little support from its members, and your only response

   This thread consists of 5-7 people only. Where you get the insinuation that the members have very little support for the Association is beyond me. I'm not saying they don't or do, but 5-7 people shouldn't qualify as an assumption for the whole. You are a product of your imagination maybe?

It's obvious with a response like this your out of touch, your a union officer, you have a self serving agenda, your not an AMT or have some kind of psychological disorder. Trust me the guys I have spoke too in person and emails want absolutely nothing to do with the association. In other words they don't support or approve of it mainly because it was forced upon us. That's more than 5 or 7 of them.

The invitation to visit Tule is still open, believe me the association has very little support here.
Yes it is true members are very interested in seeing what Delta plus seven looks like in a contract
proposal, but do not use that interest as support for the association. Even the TWU sheepal who 
ignore the TWU's failures know the Delta plus 7% offer comes directly from AA.

Good one. They say numbers don't lie. When it comes to the TWU and American Airlines the interpretation of any number is always subject to who gets the most financial benefit out of it. Company or union International. Members excluded.

DFW/DWH is not a Association supporter either. In fact it has been a long time AMFA stronghold for years.

You may not get a solid answer to which station supports the association. We all know local 591 was against it. Local 514 never spoke or took legal action like 591 did. As far as local 514 goes I think the local not the members is scared of losing work to more outsourcing so they don't want to piss the company off. Again we are all divided with personal agendas. This is why we as a group are pathetic losers and are going to continue down this road for years to come.

my understanding is that the negotiating committee is ready to negotiate the international will not come out and say it. but the position is they want to see the companies proposal. i suggest we hound the international to come out and call the companies bluff and when ever you talk to management ask them, where is the companies proposal?

im not happy about the association but we have to force someone to move before we are left behind with nothing. record profits and we are still under a bankruptcy contract. pathetic, simply pathetic.
