Buck,
Removal without a chargeable offense. I really don't know what would happen if the membership petitioned the Int'l for new leadership at the ATD. I don't think it's been done before. Who would you want in the ATD that isn't there now?

of course they would have to have a chargeable offense, as simple as Duty of Fair Representation.

Who is not the point, it is the ability to if such a chargeable offense comes forth.

Even you nor 700 know everything that happens.

When the other factions want something they can out vote the ATD and it's minions.

Agree and Delta +7% regardless of the 4% being inside the 7% is as Kev3188 stated non union and approx. 50%  of it's maintenance outsourced.

Getting back to the topic at hand, it seems to be business as usual. No news, update, or briefing, or whatever one wants to call it regarding the July 6 meeting between the IAM and TWU....

Stop playing the victim and support your negotiators and stand strong.

Great showing of solidarity by you all.
These comments remind me of when Jim Little made his (ridiculous) speech in Manhattan during the BK. I thought how could this guy show his face in front of the members and not be booed and pelted with rotten vegetables. Most people said that we were trying to show the company we were standing in solidarity with our union. Well that was just great. All "standing strong" with the twu shows the company is that the members agree with the concessions.

True I don't know everything. DFR is not easy to prove read up on it. Not liking the direction of the agenda is not a DFR. You need to prove their actions show willful intent to harm the membership. Did they break a law? Again you need evidence.

They had lunch at the memberships expense.

would like to see updates is that too much to ask?
Curious, how long have you been with the TWU?

Updates are non existent during negotiations, we are all on super secret probation because, you know, the negotiating committee is sooper smart, much smarter than us, and know what's good for us, much more than we do, so, you will get the update when they have the TA in hand.

Anyone remember the negotiations from 2006 on?
I remember some Union hacks feeding us the line at a meeting, "once Obama gets elected, we'll get a good contract".
Was that ever an epic fail.
Color me - not optimistic.

How many lies are in this article published by the IAM/TWU? Yes, the article is partially about negotiations but check out Q&A #5.

Lying is not a good start to this joke of an association. So if you think for 1 minute that the IAM/TWU will post facts coming out of the negotiations ...you are dead wrong!
I think the bigger lie is #1, the AFL-CIO decided our fate.

Sounds like every liberal I have ever met.

Welcome to the "REAL" TWU The lapdog of the Democratic Party.

TWU is not there to represent you or negotiate for you, they are there to CONTROL you.
