With support from you negative nancys no wonder why you are where you are.

You are your own worst enemies, why dont you give the Association a chance?
700, I didn't get a chance to vote on this thing called Association.
700, these meetings should have taken place months ago.
700, negotiations were suppose to start with the company no later than June 19th
700, the first day the Association was mentioned, the leaders were already squabbling.
700, do I need to go on...I have more!

If nothing else 700, I have earned the right to voice my opinion!!

The 4% is in the 7%
How can that be? The 4% was to be in January when the Pilots and Flight Attendants received theirs. .You cannot equate the two. First we didn't receive either and if you mean we were to be given 4% and then grant the 7% above Delta's highest paid mechanic ( Doug Parker CLT Town Hall ), that is still not the same. Has the Association already signed a  LOA  letting the company off for all monies since January ? What is going to happen to the Pay Averaging on September 12, 2015?  Or is there already included too? It is just like being able to vote for the Association and then being told sorry we messed up? and please tell me why the TWU had anything to do with our stock ?

A chance? We did not get to vote for or against it. No one really wants to support another 30 years of being the lowest paid in their craft and class.

So take your bat and ball go home.

You had your chances to change representatives and you failed.

Stop playing the victim and support your negotiators and stand strong.

But you all won't and you know the company reads these boards?

Great showing of solidarity by you all.

How is DL +7% going to be the lowest in the industry?

toroshark,
That's a fair question. Most on the TWU side have been in office for at least six years (two terms). It is reasonable that officers should have some frontline involvement with how things work on the floor level. It is true we all want our stuff back but the new work rules and procedures are rough. It would be interesting to see them work a few shifts a month so that they could stay in touch with what matters to us beyond the money and benefits. They are rarely out on the floor and when they are, they don't have much to say. Often they will get upset when confronted about their lack of presence in our work places. Yeah we complain but when you store it up for months on end with no info, you're going to get slammed. Sit down with us a lunch, have a cup of coffee, sit in our crew meetings, and feel our pain. They need to know what they are fighting for.

Yes, we have our chance but you would rather have labor compensated equally regardless of skill.

Been a TWU victim for 31 years. Stand Strong? I am of the B-scale along with many other multi tier compensation scams, Isn't unionism supposed to be about equality?

Solidarity, when has this TWU ever stood behind it's membership as a whole? Now is the IAM going to show them how it is done?

Do you really think that Delta +7% is going to be free? Please guarantee these younger or lower senior people they won't be laid off.  My understand is Delta recently signed a t $42, does that count or is it going to be like the Association. We tried brother but hey we missed on that one.

One more time what is your fight here? TWU, IAM, Association or the company?

Most on the TWU side have been in office  for six years....     Yes and they can be removed, unlike the International where the other factions outside of the Air Transport Division.

Buck,
The past Int'l officers and their reps were all removed last term. Little, Gless, Videtich, the appointed reps all of them. At the ATD Drummond and McCoy are the only ones I know that are still there. I have never heard any one speak about them in past years.

Yes, but the membership does not have that right of removal.

Buck,
Removal without a chargeable offense. I really don't know what would happen if the membership petitioned the Int'l for new leadership at the ATD. I don't think it's been done before. Who would you want in the ATD that isn't there now?
