Most Americans have no idea what they are in for?

Hunh...

Just when I think you can't get any more lost, there you go, proving me wrong...

See Q's post below:

Yep!

A rite of passage for most everyone establishing seniority in any given classification.

Did my stint, but I'm sure glad those days are looong behind me.

Answer this question Kev. Do you believe someone flipping hamburgers at McDonalds, should be able to raise a family of 4, on their salary ?

If true, then it is a loophole that would have to be closed. You have to know that that wont fly for long. Dont dwell on the negative too long. Youll get an ulcer.

There people of all IQs who are uninsured. But smarter people have a shot at finding an employer that offers bennies.

Union Leaders’ Epiphany Leaves Them Scrambling: Wait, Obamacare Is Going to Drive up Our Costs?

Yes, according to a recent report from the Wall Street Journal, union leaders (i.e. the same people who campaigned tirelessly in favor of universal healthcare) are trying to figure out a way to avoid paying for the costs associated with “Obamacare.”

From the WSJ:

Labor unions enthusiastically backed the Obama administration’s health-care overhaul when it was up for debate. Now that the law is rolling out, some are turning sour.
Union leaders say many of the law’s requirements will drive up the costs for their health-care plans and make unionized workers less competitive. Among other things, the law eliminates the caps on medical benefits and prescription drugs used as cost-containment measures in many health-care plans. It also allows children to stay on their parents’ plans until they turn 26.
To offset that, the nation’s largest labor groups want their lower-paid members to be able to get federal insurance subsidies while remaining on their plans. In the law, these subsidies were designed only for low-income workers without employer coverage as a way to help them buy private insurance.
In early talks, the Obama administration dismissed the idea of applying the subsidies to people in union-sponsored plans, according to officials from the trade group, the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans, that represents these insurance plans.

Looking like our Union Brothers will be taking applications for the 47% crowd.

Do you become a moocher when you go on Medicare and SSI? Becasue I'm rather sure you're retirement and retiree medical leaves something to be desired.

Hope it's there for you. The government(no political affiliation) is working on making people work until a week before they die. I'm exaggerating of course  , but expect the carrot to be raised higher.

Well why don't you tell him that and let us know how it goes.

Hmmmm....
I guess it depends on which side of the fence you are viewing the scene. If you live in a well to do state, a well to do neighborhood, etc., you don't see it happening. When you live in a state an area where people migrate from the Carolinas because they hear it's easy to get WELFARE, well I understand where you are coming from. I'm the one burdened by the reality!

If you were around during biblical times you would have asked Ceaser to crucify the annointed one because he WAS a liberal.

Don't go there, you don't know what you're talking about. Jesus was not a hippie and he was very conservative about God's word. :angry2:

Follow the Word and don't interpret it to suit you, is what the real Gospels are about.
