Are you trying to say no matter what if any Union in our industry needs help that we should put aside the animosity, the back stabbing, the emotional garbage, the agenda's and anything else that can be thought of and support them? Go to their picket's nationwide and hold up their signs and support them? Maybe even strategize to initiate Nationwide protests in airports where those airlines have service but have all the work contracted out or where the participation of other Unions can bring a much larger presence? You mean put aside whoever belongs to what club or what schools they went to and unite just for the idea of supporting organized labor or even those who want to be organized but haven't gotten there yet? Work together without any selfishness?Overspeed said:What could make the current Southwest union struggle and potential job action a tipping point moment for organized labor is if all the airline unions coordinate on strike support for all SWA employees. The fact that almost all unions at SWA are in negotiations for years during unprecedented and continuous profits is a good time to take the company on. Us as well at AA. The TWU/IAM have a good hand to pay and supporting our brothers and sisters at SWA will go a long way as we work towards to a JCBA.
Boy wouldn't that be a novel idea.
