Do you know that for sure no pun intended .

I saw them with my own eyes, and they are also listed on DECS in ROS and GSW. There is one in VCV but it is no longer owned my AA or a Leaser and will be a bad tasting beer can in about 3 months.

I'm quite confident the rest will suffer the same fate in the near future.

Systemwide it's 300 to 400 a year, thats what the company claims, so figure more than half that number for Tulsa, probably around 200/year.(I suspect its higher)

Thats why I'm saying AA is shooting themselves in the foot. They wont be able to recruit the people it needs when they try and grow.

The Continental counter proposal to the IBT is better than the deal the TWU submitted to AA. I dont have anything written yet but from what I've heard its 3% on 1/1/10 plus a 2.5% signing bonus, followed by a 3% in 2011 and another 3% in 2012. Continental already earns around $10k a year more than we do. So their three year deal would increase their base by 9% while our three year deal would only increase our base by 6%. Continental still has all their holidays at holiday rates-not half pay like us, plus they have all their vacation as well.

This so true, plus if you factor in all the school closing's for graduating AMT's,
American better keep what Amt's they have now and for a long time to come.
There is going to be no experience in the field in the next three years if this rate keeps up....
And if AA is smart they will keep us all working and have all that experience to check mate the MRO business yet to come...
