Maintenance backing up?

You still have the A300 lease return lines that are undetermined to where the work will go and a lot of MD80 work that needs to be determined, probably around 19 months of work still up for grabs for all 3 maintenance base's and as it looks now and into the next 3 years pretty much every base except for MCI is maxed out already. I'm sure they will be making there decision soon of where this work will go or they better make it soon otherwise they will be paying lease payments on grounded A300 aircraft....

A300 will be done in Tulsa. GENFAM classes starting soon.

MCI, by chance did you guys have N335AA for its last heavy check?
<_< ----- Don't think so, we haven't done a heavy check on AA metal in quit a while, but than again, I've been gone for almost a year now.----- What's going on with N335AA?
 
Can anyone at DFW confirm that Blare Greg is being sent back to AFW after messing up DFW. I hope not. We are being told he will be back here next month. So did he take away your CS's yet?
Let's hope so. He hasn't taking cs's and doubles or 4/10s away yet. He is attempting to remove all personal apliances, chairs,microwaves,toasters,toaster ovens,stereos,coffee makers,mini fridge,hotplates. We'll see how that plays out after the 1st of October. I did hear you got Luke Dockwalker back for good. So good luck with that. If we can get Blair out of here we will. Guy shouldn't be over anything Maintenance, line or overhaul.

Yeah, he did the same thing here. Hope he doesn't come back because i just got a new chair. And thanks a lot for giving us back dockwalker...we will have to send you another of our gems to make up for that one. ;)

<_< ----- In fact, I've heard they're having a hard time scrounging up enough people to work the North American "C" check coming in to MCI shortly. They say they're short at least eight Inspectors, and are talking to the Union to make "temporary" Inspectors from those who have been reduced within the last two years. I'd be surprised if this floats, even with the TWU! :down:
 
Told today in tulsa that starting in jan 150 amt/osm will be going back to the docks, shop supervisor was told they will not back fill that just had to make due till 2012

What does that mean? I thought that OSMs could only work the shops. Are these A&Ps that were downgraded?

I've heard the same thing form multiple sources however, unless some deal is being cut, they will have to go by the recall list. There are still many AMT's in DFW who want to go back to Tulsa. I hope they don't get screwed out of there recall rights.
