Nope not at all IT. I hear what your saying and agree.
That was not CD;
We've got elections coming up in CLT next month. I hope the candidates will run more respectful campaigns than a couple of the letters I have seen from PHL candidates while on a productivity break in Phillys crew room. Having been based there years ago, I've got a good idea who is going to win the PHL election and I think he is going to dominate the election. It will not surprise me if he gets TWICE as many votes as all the other candidates COMBINED. I miss his newsletters. Also, Council 89 will be a toss-up. We find out who is running next week. 🙂
John McCorkle is no unionist...not in the past, not in the present, and not in the future. My take on his runnng is to attempt to destroy from within and continue where the company and Jerry G. left off.
What he is...is a comedian who copies and pastes industry facts and pokes jokes at who is news in the industry for the week, and attempt to give his predictions for the future.
Funny, the guy wants to run for LECP, but hated all unions specifically AFA since he started to write his ABC's in a newsletter format. Well, until he needed AFA, which he now won't admit. Yea, spin that, John.
He can't deal with management and is the KING of backstabbing, bias, spinning any information on anything and anybody, taking just bits of facts and turning it on its head to acheive some kind joke to embarass, or discredit anyone with no retaliation.
He needs to keep flying and keep copying and pasting industry information and make us all laugh. .
Vote for him is a vote for Laura and the same type of representation PHL wanted to throw out.

Hey, only posting my opinions.
Are you talking about after the meeting was adjourned? Because CD ran out to make a phone call to dispute what LA was saying, and never came back, unless it was after the meeting was over and she was speaking with MF. Again, not trashing CD, just do not believe that her ideas are so much more revolutionary when compared to AP's.It sure was CD. She and M E H. were walking toward security talking about an issue and MF was walking with them. Mike said he would have to get back to them and they (MEH & CD) exchanged emails. Several people were going in that direction, this was after the first meeting.
As far as the second meeting goes, they all resigned so it was a none event. Not sure what the 2nd meetings purpose was, do you?
Is JM really the front runner in PHL? 😱We've got elections coming up in CLT next month. ok i must have left by then, i left after the meeting was adjourned. Back to my previous post, who was the woman from PIT who was giving MF flack over the profit sharing issue? She was seated behind LA's husband. Was that Ginger? Anyone who was there know? I was impressed with her.During the meeting LA said she "CD" was out of order.
LA said CD could not do what she was trying to state for the record. She (CD) left the room as to get clarification on the C&B from international. While she was out of the room LA announced she would resign if the rest of the Officers would agree to do so, which they did.
The meeting was adjourned shortly after that announcement.
TG was walking out of the meeting room because IT WAS OVER and that's when she said to CD (who was still on phone waiting on clarification) that they all resigned.
CD then hung up the phone and went back into the meeting room, clarification was now a mute point.
This was already addressed in the previous post. So, again YES it was CD.
I'm just not sure that he doesn't have an agenda unto himself. I mean, his newsletters used to trash AFA, from the Intl level down to the LEC's constantly. That said, is he "playing" the membership, hoping they will vote him in to prove something to AFA, or is he truly interested in furthering the interest of the PHL FA's?I do not know if JM is the forerunner, but I fly a lot of extra positions out of CLT and it seems like every other crew is PHL-Based and everyone tells me that they are voting for JM. Even people who say they never vote say they will vote for JM. As far as what PitBull says about him not being a unionist, maybe he's not. But I never think of that criteria when I vote for our council 89 reps. I think people want someone they can trust and believe in, not who is or who isn't a unionist.
I think we need someone who can pull a line out of the contract and bring it to the table but with a firm delivery. This management WALKS no RUNS all over this membership and we all know it. Being polite and "by the book" though proper doesn't work. JG will laugh at you if you do not walk in there without the mentioned "F@#$ OFF" attitude. The "Nice" attitude will not work as we have seen. Ask MF how much respect HE gets. Say what any want about TX but she made them practically Sh!t their pants and was as vocal and visual as they come. NOBODY since her has made an impression. I couldn't even tell you what MF looks like if I had to pick him out of a lineup.

Fair enough. From the tone of his newsletters, he does not have my vote; someone that has that much disdain for the AFA, even at the Intl level as he often criticized, makes me leary. I feel he is trying to prove a point to them, and we have no time for that now. Ahh, the beauty of living in a democracy.... 🙂I see your point and I have never asked JM about that. But think about this was he the only one trashing the union or the only one "publically" trashing the union. Think about it --- flight attendants at every base have been bashing the union or upset about one thing or another for years. JM was just vocal about it. Yeah, I guess he was p/o'd at the union. So was I and so were you probibly. We have people here in council 89 who raise cane but they don't have the fourm that JM has. I know a girl who is based here in CLT but lives in Wilmington and she said she knows JM personaly. He was at the training center last week and she was on his commute flight and she said he id dead serious about this election. LIke I said, every phl crew I talk to, sr. or jr., have said they trust JM and think he will do a good job . I'm anxious to see who will put they're name in the hat for council 89. It is going to be interesting. 😀
I enjoy the debate on here; it has helped me see things differently. I am now torn between TG and AP. Keep the constructive criticisms coming, this is an important vote!Ok why not take this thread to let the candidates know what YOUR definition of a GREAT leader is because truth be told Leadership means different things to different people.
