Got to find a balance ,obviously the unions want the dues they're a business tooIs it better to make more or protect more? That is truely the real question.

Would you like for mainline to take over Express operations if we topped out at $22?that's not a question at all to me without scope it doesn't matter what make you if you're out of a job
This question doesn’t make sense. Maybe I’m not understanding it? Why would you take a pay cut to take over express? You might take less of a raise going forward to take over the Work, but never take a pay cut to take it over. You can always get excellent scope without taking over express Work.Would you like for mainline to take over Express operations if we topped out at $22?
We put those pay stubs on the flyers. They showed over $100,000 for some bos guys whose base wage was $17.88I was referring to the news letters promoting the union back in the day. PIT was already unionized so they would show us how much they made claiming to be better off.
Rat was saying he thought scope was the most important I said there should be a balance, If I was given a choice of a big raise or say all catering and freight jobs back at this point I would take the raise . I always felt the jobs for money concept diluted and in the long run hurt everybody......yup IGM so whatThis question doesn’t make sense. Maybe I’m not understanding it? That's a lot of double time. Back then if you worked a double the first 4 was time and a half the second 4 double time. At JFK where I worked back then, they would actually try to mandatory people to work those hoursWe put those pay stubs on the flyers. Yup, and your driving around in a Mustang not a KIA and I'm sure you have no plans to join a Monastery and take an oath of poverty. I do believe in acts of kindness however perhaps an occasional $20 tip to a waitress for a takeout order, things like thatAt least you’re an honest guy that’s for sure.

That's been the sentiment by some for years (including me) and they (we) have been labeled as IGM, greedy,
sellouts among other things (by some even in this forum). Some feel you are screwing your future union brothers, even if they are still in the womb!
