AMFA goal of getting all Mechanics in the same Union isnt working out so well being as their losing Members not gaining them, United/Continental jusy recently.
The ONLY agenda I have at the present is to replace the TWU with a different Union that can actually get enough cards to get to an Election & from my perspective that is the Teamsters, I'll leave the bigger agenda to you, hey their are a lot of people in my shop who haven't signed AMFA cards so you should come talk to them & show them the error of their ways & talk them into signing AMFA cards ..... I would enjoy watching you try.
In other words, You are happy with the twu. IBT is sponsored by the twu to water down the AMFA card drive, not to bright are you?
Raptorman,
I believe that you fit the classic definition of useful idiot. (google it)
However, it's just possible that you are just another teamster (or twu) plant.
Continuing to Insult me could encourage me to fill out the form invalidating the AMFA card I signed & destroying amy AMFA cards that are given to me, Insulting people definitely will not help your cause & could hurt it, you might want to let Ed Wilkensen know your encouraging me to engage in anti-AMFA activities instead of continuing to give him Amy AMFA cards that are given too me, trying to Piss people off thinking it will help your cause makes no sense at all, it is a great way to turn people against AMFA though, its funny how you don't see that.
The perceived insults are coming from within you not from outside. The agressive nature of the postings is coming from your claim that the Teamsters is more popular on the Tulsa Base than AMFA, and then admitting that you have only 100 signed Teamster Cards.
There are 4500 or so on the Tulsa Base, and appx 12,000 system wide and you have 100 signed cards and have declared the winner. This is what leads to readers to attack your integrity, because you open the door with your own statements.
You need to focus on changing the direction of this profession. Instead you are about revenge against the TWU for those transgressions caused by lack of leadership. You want to be the agent of change, and then bail out on a leadership role, and that is what we have now. I doubt that you or me will be around long enough to see this profession transformation complete and you want to place the whole idea into a rush to judgement and score the outcome within days of it all starting, and you have zero patience. I am hopeful to leave something better for the younger AMT's. You still react on emotional outburst, and many view this as a weakness and will exploit that character flaw to advance their own position. You have entered the Politics of Unionism, but you want to remain expempt from it's pitfalls. I am afraid is doesn't work that way McCoy. You take on leadership roles in the Teamsters drive, but do not want to be the leader. You want a craft union, but keep being a cheerleader for an industrial union. Just take a step back, and you will see why you are becoming the target. But by all means, keep going until you finally get a real grip on what you want, and how you want to get it. Leave the emotions out of this, or be prepared for more targeting. "It is what it is"
