Volunteer to be a union rep, unless you already are, which I seriously doubt... Rather than wait a year and a half into negotiations. Its great you have all kinds of ideas on how to "negotiate" with a union that wouldnt even accept our withdrawl paperwork. Im sure you could have done a far better job... The guys on the sidelines can always do it better, funny how there always the ones on the sidelines.

SWAMT- don't try and sugar coat the DenverMX and 401k. First off Denver was coming no matter what as it's operational NEED!! I don't care what Ryan or Suckhole say about Denver and that they are doing it for us only! That's a load of BS and you know it. The 401K should have been ours long ago and we got fu&ked out of it. It will come no matter what but in time. Anyway on to other things. I feel this current TA is the best offer we will get and I'm a YES vote on it, I'd like better for our junior guys but I won't be greedy and lose the 4 year that's up to grab! Besides there is no fences and that's what I'm about also. And another thing this LOA#8 better get sold to the members as I don't see it passing again. The union better go out to every station and bid location and sell/promote it hard or it will fail like the fist time!!!!!!!!!

The union has not sold anyone out. May I ask what your seniority is? If we go to arb. It maybe nothing, notta, ziltch as far as an enhancement in seniority. Also the 401K and Denver maint will be gone forever if you vote this down. Mr. Ryan has been heard saying that if we vote the 401K offer down this time, it will not be seen again, even in sec 6 coming up. He has also said we were lucky to even have it now after voting it down last time. Here's another thought, why spend all that money, and delay for well over 3-5 years for something that will end up being the same as we are voting on now. IMO, I don't think an arbitrator will give any more than the 4 years. However, we will be with out the 401K match as well as the Denver maint., and would have to spend millions upon millions for the same ruling. I, for one, will be voting "YES"

Look , I know this is gonna hurt, and im sorry, really. Unfortunately growth is a neccesity, and inevitable. You cant stop it, I cant stop it, the SWA we know and luv will never be again. Knowing this, does this mean it has to be a miserable place to work? No it doesnt, even with the changes its gonna be hands down the beast airline to work for. I work with pesimistic, miserable fu@ks here, and Ive worked with them at other companies. Point is you can sit there and point out all of the negaitves, or look at the bright side , that your employed with an industry leader, with great benefits. The SLI is going to happen, hopefully soon so we can start focusing on the future instead of crying over spilled milk. Everyone wants something out of this "deal" well guess what??? Its not gonna happen, this is REALITY, everyone getting a miraculous company funded bonus is FICTION. Get over yourself and quit acting like a child. How junior are you to be so bitter? You mus be in orlando, thats my guess. I am in 13, and I definetly consider myself junior. I love these 4,5,6,7 ect. year guys that have this ultimate sense of entitlement.WTF REALLY.... what a fu@king joke.

Road shows started this morning for Dallas. Does anyone have any info from the first meeting at 6am? Any questions come up that we haven't talked about yet? There will be another at 12 noon and 2pm. Hope someone will post how the meetings went...
