Here's what kills me.......District Force and Golden Ram finally have an opportunity to come on here and spread some useful information about when the new "giveback" payscale starts, but naturally, when they CAN make a difference, they are nowhere to be found.

thats because there still in Randy's suite getting the good ole boy pat on the back for hoodwinking the membership .

they haven't come up for air yet. I highly doubt you'll see them around much . especially DF he's not up for re election

so he will spin his gloom and doom over at UA .

If one is to believe the numbers then the following has to be true.

We know that we had approx. 1600 no votes. In order for the 63% to be true we had to have at least 4330 that voted.

That would mean that we had 2730 that voted yes. That would be 1130 more yes than no. It just don't add up. If PHX had 648 yes

where did the other 2000 yes votes come from?

sorry dude . You must be reading another contract. YOU can't just bump the junior guy anywhere . It has to be the MOST

junior guy on the system . more likely PHX or PHL .. However having said that. If they close a station say BUR and they put LAX on

there list as there recall city and then say LAX decides to cut back say 10 positions . those from BUR would have first crack at it.

I was in the minority of NO voters out West, but since I have to live with the results, I am not gonna waste time waiting to see what happens (as the axe grinds in the background of Tempe). I need to be proactive and go where I can KEEP my job. Any thoughts (merger in the equation also)?? I need to understand your example above better, so that I can jockey myself to a "safer" place (notice I put emphasis on "safer" as this possible merger may make any ground "unsafe"). Thoughts from those that have had to deal with the furlough issue before...please PM me or public post how this process works and how to handle it the best way to help ensure some job security. My advice for you , if you have flexible living plans is to sit tight. If you get a packet and will be displaced

bump to a class I hub first and then a smaller field station. the important thing is to STAY ON THE PAYROLL. once you hit the

street it is VERY hard to get back in . I would recommend going to a junior hub such as PHL (and take the advice that goodfellow

had a few pages back) depending on your seniority CLT might be safe for ya depends on who else is getting the same pink slip.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

The majority of the yes votes came from the field stations where there were very large turnouts.
They had enough to overcome the apathetic guys in CLT and PHL who didnt vote. Thats my understanding at least.
It is also my understanding that the pay rasie will come after ratification which is May 8th.
Certification is today. So figure 30 days from May 8th, and everyone gets Memorial day.
