I.A.M VS I.B.T

Any one that votes for Teamsters is proof that you are a no brainer.

Yes 7, when all else fails insult them all. The TWU has it signed in blood. So you do condone the action of the IAM members that beat on the TWU people? Shame on you 7.

There are many ways to stand and "fight" 7. There have been many people stand and "fight" on this board for the truth. Even your members have stood up and told there stories only to be "beaten" down by the self proclaimed "officials" of the IAM. Their stories were dismissed with insults and name calling. The "three strikes story" by an AMT in CLT was a very good example of how the IAM responds to its members.

The "cut and run" you talk about is not the truth. It is the only way you can take the answer that was given and not acknowledge it as a satisfactory answer for you.

Take those "blinders" off 7. :)

Hey company man it is good to hear that you finally pulled your head out of the sand or was it really buried deep inside of a place we don't want to mention out loud but lets just say the smell was bad! You say you are trying to get informed but it sounds to me you went to one Union meeting and was oohed and aaahed by people trying to influence your vote. Well it doesn't take much of a thought to see that is what happens when people try to sway you. You have to actually use your brain and research to make an informed decision. So let's get the record straight and be honest that many decisions are going to be made and votes cast by people like you who are swayed by nice smiling kind folk who would just love to get your dues money. If you understand the history of Unions and know the facts you wouldn't even consider any Union that is raiding another Union and plotting working folks against one another. The origianl working class America that fought for unionism and lost their lives for the rights of unionism are crying in their graves with the shame of this action.

I appreciate the extra time the members took to make us feel welcomed. Never been in a union before, but I intend to be the best member I can be, and contribute to not only the success of the company but to the membership as well.

I'm moved

Well as for DUES. Did or did not the IAM raise your DUES a few weeks back. Guess They Wanted To Get A Little More Out Of You Guys For Doing Nothing Before They Are Voted Out.

FACT: Teamster Union dues average two-and-one-half times the hourly wage rate. For example, if you make $10 an hour, dues are approximately $25 per month.

FACT: Initiation fees may or may not be charged depending upon the bylaws of the local union.

If they have not filed yet then why are you saying they only have two days left?

If they started collecting cards a year ago those cards may be expiring but they will also be the easiest ones to get signed again.

As far as dues; Is it better to pay $20/week for nothing or $25 a week for something?

Did M&R Go Up?

Hey company man it is good to hear that you finally pulled your head out of the sand or was it really buried deep inside of a place we don't want to mention out loud but lets just say the smell was bad! Another childish insult. You say you are trying to get informed but it sounds to me you went to one Union meeting and was oohed and aaahed by people trying to influence your vote. Do I need to copy and post the string of e-mails that I have sent to the IAM TRYING to become informed?? Which has resulted in ZERO information from the IAM. Well it doesn't take much of a thought to see that is what happens when people try to sway you. You have to actually use your brain and research to make an informed decision. And the thugs is PHL used their brains?? Or were they not really their own brains. They were "swayed" by their union to perform that blatant, horrific, PREMEDITATED attack on "UNION BROTHERS"??? So let's get the record straight and be honest that many decisions are going to be made and votes cast by people like you who are swayed by nice smiling kind folk who would just love to get your dues money. I would rather pay my dues money to a union that doesn't PREMEDITATE an attack on "union brothers." And I am referring to this most recent PREMEDITATED attack ONLY. If you understand the history of Unions and know the facts you wouldn't even consider any Union that is raiding another Union and plotting working folks against one another. And factually provide proof that the IAM has never raided another union or plotted workers against one another. Provide factual proof that NO union has ever done that. Good luck! The origianl working class America that fought for unionism and lost their lives for the rights of unionism are crying in their graves with the shame of this action. You MUST be speaking of the most recent PREMEDITATE actions by IAM members in PHL. What are those unionists that are crying in their graves, as you so state, crying about?? The recent acts of those individuals?? No doubt! What an embarrasment to them. And do you think this is the first time that they have "cried?" Doubtful. What about the people that have fought and died for this country? They, including myself, have served and fought for every AMERICAN'S right to choose. And that was long, long BEFORE unionism. The right to freedom. The right to be protected from dictatorship. The right to not FEAR for your life when voicing your opinion. The right to assemble. And on and on and on. Get out of your union mentality and come back to the side of humanity.
700 where is your head??

because bob on 1-31-2006 NMB granted single carrier status to US Airways and it started a 14 day clock for all unions wishing for representation to file for a chance for an election between any other unions on the property with the 35% rule applied and if it comes to it,the 50%+1 rule also.

Ok, so they have 2 days for the 35%. So if they dont file they have to go for the 50% +1, big deal, they would probably get it.

I just hope your rampers dont make the mistake of going TWU.
