the engine shop was "chopped" right after 9/11....it was a known fact that they were getting out of jt8 o/h but 9/11 the company expedited the retirement as they already were floundering financially and did away with the jt8 fleet.(remember the company owns the roof and they decide)
we always had QEC guy....still do...and your misreading of the contract,PIT and CLT...guarantees work in those two bases for the life of the contract...so whats so earth shattering about these revelations?
does this mean when IAM transitions you guys...heavy AWA work will be done only in PIT and CLT?? :shock:

The transition agreement will have all small airbus checks come back over time not over night. You have no responsiblities worth talking about.
