She is being given better then due process Glenn. I don't like the "Nothing to hide nothing to fear" justification even a little, just pointing out that with what she has riding on that investigation, total disclosure might be the way to go. People who think they are above the law seldom take that path and for many it comes back to bite them in the arse.

I don't like her politics, I don't trust her even a little, I think she is a glory hound to the point she would damage the working class to make herself look good. However. I'd like to not have her fall from grace due to criminal activity. I think it would be bad for the country. In fact if I were POTUS, even a Libertarian I'd strongly consider pardoning her. It would likely be in the national interest to do so.

Why pardon her?  If she is guilty then let her suffer the consequences.  I do not buy into the idea that seeing a cabinet member or even a siting president convicted of a felony sitting in jail doing any harm to the fabric of the country.  In fact having a former head of state or cabinet member sitting in the slammer sends a clear message that no one should be above the law, not even the president.

I think the pardons of Nixon et-al and North et-al were disgusting.  They committed crimes against the state and should have been prosecuted and if found guilty punish like anyone else.  All the pardons accomplished is showing the country and the world that in the US legal system, some are more/less equal than others.

This time, That women has so many scandals dating back to her involvement in the Watergate Committee that in my mind says she is untrustworthy.

She has been cleared, so what indictment?

You need to go back to English 101 and learn to comprehend what you try to read.

Plan B is Biden and Warren.

I found the article interesting for what was NOT said.

1. The FBI investigation is not necessarily moot. The State Department is not a Law Enforcement Agency and has no say in who investigates whom or what gets investigated

2. Not being all that well versed in the laws that would apply, but it would seem to me that one could be guilty of High Crimes & Misdemeanors without violating State Department rules or even laws.
