Haven't Heard About the Extra 4% in Equity to be Held Aside?

37 friggin' shares? What happened to expect 25% of day one distribution? 25%, 15% oh well they were close, right? At least it's over. No more wondering how much. Oh sure, if the retiree case gets thrown out there is that other 14%, or 10%. If if if . We will likely get those shares the same day the IAM/TWU negotiates us all an industry leading contract. Good Luck.

For the concessions past, present and future, I was awarded a grand total of 433 shares. Yep, I was made whole. :angry2:
Even at todays stock price ($36.52) that's only $15,800 before taxes. Really no expletive to describe this insanity.

Dallasconehead,

"You said be grateful"

It's illiterate people like you who depresses the few of us that want change.  We see "dead people" like you walking around AA everyday.  They will continue to pay you what you are worth.  I'm grateful that I went to business school and run my own business here in NY.  As they say on wall street, "Pigs get slaughtered", and you are certainly one of them.  Now go meekly with your small mind.

Dallasconehead,

You say be grateful?!?!?!?!?!?

I am grateful for getting any, because i thought for sure the AA and TWU would grind some way to screw us outta all of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking between 175 to 200 shares in the last distribution minus taxes and the 14% hold back for the retiree lawsuit. Maybe 100 net shares...?
Oops!!

You can't help stupid with the likes of "Dallasconehead" and Overspeed.  I can't and won't used the foul language that I would like to use against these ignorant types.  I'm trying my best to maintain some sort of self control. But gosh, it's absolutely difficult.  We have a bunch of great folk in Dallas and Tulsa who are now awoke.  Hopefully, you ladies and gents can see what the TWU continues to do with you and us.  They use us to obtain the highest wages in the industry for Ramp Service.  In essence, we are stool pigeons. I see the TWU here in NY in the subway each and everyday, boys and girls, they just want your dues.  You will continue to get the same representation, "None at all".

The TWU gave away in one fell swoop of 12 Years, what it took almost one hundred years to accrue in salary and benefits.  It is gut wrenching.  These hard fought for benefits will take decades to recover, if ever.  Let it be known that AA management has already recovered all of their loss benefits. I mean 100% of their loss benefits. We will sit here and stew while the Helpless TWU and IAM sit around aimlessly trying to figure out what the Wharton and Harvard grads has done to them and by de facto us.  We need smart and intelligent people looking out for the best interest of the members,  Not phony appointed committee folk trying to line their pockets with our hard earned money.

they are expected to go down because there are shares that are becoming eligible to sell. We are not the only ones receiving stock. It will go back up.

I heard a rumor that the equity stock has a price cap of around 44 dollars a share. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Depends on what the rumour-monger meant by "price cap."   They're probably repeating some Wall St Stock-Pushing Whore's opinion that the stock won't go higher than $44/sh.   Maybe the WSSPW set a price target of $44 (again, merely an opinion of where they think the stock price is headed).

I can tell you that there is no "price cap" on AAL.   Stock can go as high as someone's willing to bid the price, and can go as low as zero.

So, with the stock price tumbling, does that mean I'm getting more shares out of what the TWU withheld??

The rumor was that the stock issued to employees as equity can't go above (around) 44 a share not that AAL cant. I was told if AAL goes to 100 the employees stock is capped at 44.
