For all those that can't "find" a job.

All you old smacks should get a rocker at the old peoples home and make way for our youth who will turn this debacle around and save us.

Well thank you for sharing your story.

I think you should know (again) I was not really targeting people in your age group. I was really referring to those 20 and 30 somethings that have nothing better to do than smoke weed all day, play PlayStation, and collect their government "entitlements". They are perfectly happy living on the taxpayers dime and show no ambition or want to find gainful employment. All they want to do is exist and consume. They will give you the excuse they can't find a job but the truth is they are lazy MF'ers that have no issues taking advantage of anything or anyone they can.

That is a cold hard truth.

I wish you luck in finding a job that you feel fulfills your needs.

I get your point my friend. Hey at least I'm not working the 8 in, 8 out coal train from Bluefield, WV. Point is things could always be worse. Maybe where my sense of moral obligation to my fellow man and Libertarianism began as a little boy in tiny Point Pleasant, PA. One of the local merchants had a little printed sign on the door that said " I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet."

Even way back then I had a sense of moral obligation to those around me and that sign reinforced it. Even when my Dad died and I went to work for $1.45/hr, I always gave money to the Salvation Army at Christmas and to the church in town, $4 per week out of the $50 or so I made. To this very day my favorite two Bible verses speak to faith and obligation. The first is Psalm 110 verse 1, "The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." and the verse in Matthew where Jesus admonishes us "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

I am glad you feel that way. It is a good thing to be charitable to your fellow man but, that is not what is happening here. What is happening is the Democratic Party is stealing from working America to buy the votes of a bunch of con artists. Charity by its definition is not forced.

"Entitlement" programs have become nothing more than a delivery vehicle for a socialist/communist agenda.. They simply exist to redistribute wealth.

I don''t feel someone that has worked hard to get what they have should be robbed blind by a bunch of thieves because of a political agenda.

The concept of a social program to help those in need is good, the application of them on the other hand has been nothing but legalized thievery for 40 years.

Confiscation of wages and redistribution to others is NOT compassion. It does not fulfill the social contract unless that social contract permits theft by deception.

You F'N IDIOT !
.
Replying to one of your asinine posts, is like pushing a little kid to the ground, then stealing his Candy !
(NO GOD DAM Wonder ......the South LOST the War) !

But, nonetheless ..the Ol' Bear will play your stupid game.

How did my "LAST" Union work out for me you ask ?

Well, if my LAST Union was @ AA ...(because my CURRENT Union is @ AMTRAK)......I'd be 'obligated' to respond, ............ VERY WELL ! !
(allow me to elaborate a bit more 'southwindBAG)

While employed @ AA (working at TOP RATE  $$) I sustained an UNFORTUNATE BACK INJURY.
Despite AA's best efforts of  I N T I M I D A T I O N to get me back to work, my..UNION provided LAWYERS and DOCTORS.. politely told AA to...... 'G F Y-Self' !    Soooooo,  AA paid me $600+   per week (NO TAXES) plus my full medical (FREE), for "6"  (Yes I said  S I X) Years !!

Did I mention that my UNION Appointed Lawyers rejected numerous AA....CHICKEN SHIIT..settlement offers, until my UNION appointed Lawyers agreed to take AA's offer of $140,000. + , then sent me a check for $119,000. (NO TAXES) ?

Very shortly thereafter, it was time to apply for FULL SS bennies (THAT  Y O U  PAY FOR...SUCKA'), then BINGO, along came AMTRAK where I can pull down $100,000. a year (With overtime)

Sooooooo my Friendly ...(VILLAGE IDIOT)....'southwind, my UNIONS have been / are Beneficial, THANK YOU !!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha  !

Here's the problem with those two quotes.  Neither Jefferson or Lincoln ever said them.

So you found another con. Congrats again.

Thank you for providing me an example of how a PoS will take advantage of anyone and anything they can.

I am sure it will be just a matter of time until you squeeze even more money out of Amtrak you did not earn. Taxpayer funded and all.

Good for you La Li Lu Le Lo...
Is that like you taking advantage of free or subsidized training?
