I've still heard nothing about any pulldown of 20 aircraft after Labor Day.

The closest I've seen on this is six more of the ex-TW MD80's being parked to stretch out time before overhaul. With MSY out of service for up to a month or longer, I guess it's possible that we'd see another couple aircraft put on the ground.
