Employees have not "earned " the right to have an attitude..... Im not sure what company you have worked for before, or in this case after, you have no rights as an employee, other than earning a paycheck, and you doing your job. Its messed up attitudes like yours, that gives hard working loyal employees, a bad name. You wanna attitude, be prepared to be fired!

He paid for his bag to get to his destination with him. He didn't get what he paid for.
 
Thank God UVN does not represent the majority of US employees. It is obvious that he or she is suffering from PDD.

There is no excuse whatsoever for lying to a customer or failing to provide acceptable customer service. This is why when furloughs become necessary they should be done on merit as well as seniority.

Attitude counts.
 
OK, but we are missing a very important point,JS said

Last weekend I wanted to check a bag through from PHL to HHH on two separate reservations.


The ticket was not sold PHL - HHH, so legally the bag COULD NOT BE CHECKED. The airline can ONLY check the bag for that ticket, Period ! ! Sounds to me like JS tried to get over on the airline buy purchasing TWO different tickets more then likely at a cheaper rate. It is the same if you purchase a ticket PHL - MYR but ask to short check the bag to CLT, it can't be done LEGALLY ......


Just my two cents, and sorry to vent but I dont like when someone tries to scam the airline. Just another reason we are in the situation we are in.
 
What I cant believe is that more people havent figured UVN is a troll in the purest sense of the word. Read all of his past posts and decide for yourself. He even stated his goal was to get everyone to put him on their ignore list. Why dont you oblige him? Some people dont seem to remember what someone posted yesterday, let alone months ago. Maybe you need a refresher to see just what he is about. I cant even tell if he is a US employee or not from his posts. He likes to irritate 700 and Piney and appears to enjoy bugging everyone and yet you people still let him get to you.

If you guys keep a scorecard here, you'd see that many of the customer bashers are either NOT US employees at all or all seem to be non contact people, ie fleet or maintenance yet you continue to take the bait hook, line and sinker. :unsure:

Hope777 - Absolutely correct. The computer will check the bag to the destn in the itin. Psgr said he checked in at kisok and if he did he certainly did not get both boarding cards. I would suggest to passenger to make one reservation for his entire itin. If he prefers to make separate resv then be prepared to claim bag and check in for his second resv. To check the bag to any destn other than his itin is a security violation. So who is really the stupid one and doesn't know what he is doing??????????
