DWH Scam on the horizon

<_< ------- Or is it just another way to increase pressure in this ongoing contract negotiations? -------- It's AA's way of saying their playing hard ball. ------ So what will be the response by the TWU? ------- God help you! -------- If ever you needed AMP, you'll need them now!!! --------You need professionals in there negotiating for you! Not those with "mail order degrees" who took a quickie course in negotiating!-------- Just one man's opinion!

 ----- Oh by the way! About 80 of those people are exTWAers from MCI! ----- Apparently AA doesn't feel they've been beat up enough!------- But the fact of the matter is I believe they really don't care, and are using them as an example in their chess game with the TWU membership! ------- Again, just one man's opinion!

Belive it when you see the paperwork and then maybe, until then just another lovely day...............

True until that day, everything is just rumor.
Or is this just the THREAT stage of what is to come.

No, it just sounds like Larry being Larry again. He has made it known that he is p.o.ed about not having DWH under our local so therefore he is going to do whatever it takes to drive the DFW local insane with rumors. I'm sure with him spreading this one their phone is ringing off the hook.
He also could be trying to keep AMT's like myself from bailing out of AFW because 90% of the first 103 on the transfer list are from AFW and the company is saying they will not be backfilling who ever leaves. Less dues for Larry. ;)

<_< ------ Thank God I'm retired! ----- If I were in the middle of this, and found out someone was telling stories out of school, I'de be more than a little upset!!!!

If the union did not want anyone to know about this DWH RIF (upcoming mess) then they should have never held a meeting , Since they did hold a meeting and they did tell us about it then its general knowledge and that's why we are all here !! So why would anyone be upset of someone else is just passing on the facts ????

<_< ------ Jet, I believe you know the answer to that!------- And pray tell, why would AA management "share" this information with you exclusively, if not to stir the pot during negotiations?

"Thank you sir may I have another!!!!" There is no doubt those guys have been beat up, but if you dont fight back the bully will always come back and give you a little more. They made themselves an easy target for abuse, no matter what the company did to them they could count on YES votes from MCI.

I see what you are saying MCI but im just passing on some info we got last night that i thought might be worth posting ...

<_< ------ Bob, I can't talk for others that worked here at MCI, all I can say is they didn't get a yes vote out of me! But what I can say is it's not easy working under the conditions we did, for so long, knowing there was an axe over your head waiting to fall, and the proof of that is an empty hanger today!!!

Its too bad there wernt more like you there!

<_< ------- Bob, I still don't think you get it! I did what I did for my own reasons!-------- But I can truly understand why people did otherwise!------- We all knew that AA was going to shut MCI down, but we didn't know when. I'm surprised, and grateful, it lasted as long as it did! It got a lot of us down the road far enough to be able to retire!------ At the time, (2003) we all had two years seniority. And that my Friend would get you nowhere except the street. We also had a threat of base closer hanging over our heads. In retrospect, was it an empty threat?------ We'll never know!
