I guess there's little need for the "spin doctors" since this has already gone to the judge. If the injunction is issued in the IAM's favor I would expect to see them out in force, crying about how this is going to ruin the company, and that concessions somewhere else are needed to make their "goals". I don't believe a word they say, and am even inclined to believe the opposite.

I don't know much about the particulars, here. It does seem, the 'no room at the hangar' argument is pretty weak. But, aren't TRO's really mostly used to stop something that cannot be remedied?

Surely, if it is determined that its a violation, the outsourcing can be stopped and $$ damages can be awarded, right?

And if a judge is going to issue a TRO on something, wouldn't she do it immediately?

First, you send a check to the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committe, then you become a Bush Wrangler, or Pioneer, or whatever title you get when you get 100 of you closest friends to donate $2000 to Bush/Cheney.... then THEY get you your anti-labor federal judiciary.

Well they said they have no $$$ hopefully Dave's check will bounce if this is the case. And our judge is the honarable Judge. IAM will prevail.
As far as a $$ award there will be none. Company will spend that $ on tooling. HOPEFULLY

they have 99% of the tooling...IAM lawyers were supplied with a list of everthing U has.granted there may be some "special" tooling,but it is available for rent just like on the fokker's or boeings .

I am a flight attendant and I have so many other things to be concerned about now. If a judge allows our company to outsource this work he should be ashamed. Our mechanics are the best and I trust them completely. I'm not sure that I will feel the same about the lowest bidder.
