your need for revenge is so pathetic it completely impedes your inability to see reality.

If you think that WN will be capable of dominating 95% of the capacity at an airport, kick out competitors, and get by with it, then I can only tell you to fasten your seatbelt because you will be in for a rude surprise.

There is no revenge here. You just want others to believe that as we constantly and repeatedly prove you wrong all the time. You quoted that no one was expecting the growth and expansion by SWA at DAL. I proved you wrong so you once again deflect and change the subject to make it sound as I am out for revenge when all I simply did was prove you are a liar and wrong. And once again, I have never said SWA will dominate 95% of the capacity at DAL-NEVER. Never said SWA will kick out competitors. Get a clue man, quit trying to put words in peoples postings, it will and has never worked with me and I won't let it happen as this is what you want to happen, as others have, and then just fade away. Nice try moron, ain't gonna work with me...

Some people are caught up in revenge & winning, and then there's the rest of us who are truly Spectators and like to comment.

no, I am COMMITTED to what is just and right.

anyone who thinks that WN can defend having 90% of the gates and 95% of the seats at DAL, even if DAL stays with its present 5 flights/day, has no understanding of the concept of justice.

The only reason why WN has gotten by with it is because no one has challenged it.

If WN pushes DL out or if WN wants to change anything about the way DAL operates now, they will have to face that issue.

No your not WT. And everyone knows it. You are simply a **** stir and nothing more. You do not want what is just and right, you ONLY want what is in Delta's favor--PERIOD. Nothing else. We all know it and you try and try to convince all of us differently. You really do need help. You constantly repeat, repeat, and freakin repeat until someone would agree with you but no one does. You freakin wonder why people resort to name calling, because it fits, your a complete moron, an idiot, a dumb ass, and you need to get some fukcing help... FACE THAT ISSUE BY LOKKING IN THE MIRROR!!!

no, I want to talk about business issues.

the topic here is DL and DAL.

maybe with VX's reduced schedule which is not using all gates, DAL will force them to accommodate DL... who knows... but your repeated projections that DL will be out of DAL have not become reality.

let us know when DL actually leaves DAL, does nothing, and then you can tell us the next step.

swamt do you know when or if WN will put out something in regards to the 6 new cities in addition to the MSP SLC (I forget the other places) from DAL

The 6 other new cities are suppose to be announced soon. Not sure what they are SWA is keeping it quiet, even in house is quiet. We do know they will be "new". The 3 already announced (I am going by memory here and may have one wrong) Seatle, MKE, and Memphis, we already fly to SLC. I would have to say at least by July we will know for sure. We take control of the 2 new gates starting in April, and pretty sure the 6 new cities will be announced prior to the temp lease agreement coming due in July for Delta. SWA must show full utilization of the gates, otherwise they will be forced by the COD to accommodate Delta at one of those gates. I know SWA doesn't want to continue sub-leasing to Delta (and it has nothing to do with throwing Delta out of DAL) it has everything to do with SWA really needs more gates in order to add more and more flights and fully utilize all gates. IF Delta is to remain at DAL they may have to look at Virgin to share a gate with, unless SWA see it a better fit to keep Delta right where they all with no further growth from the 5 current flights. Who really knows what all will happen until July rolls around, but I am pretty confident that SWA will be using the gates to their fullest and won't be able to accommodate a 1/2 gate any longer with Delta, maybe Virgin can...

just to be clear, WN flies to SLC but not nonstop from DAL.

WN's ability to expand DAL is not dependent on using all of the gates for itself.

WN's ability to expand DAL will be greatly inhibited by pushing everyone out but VX and then crushing them.

thanks swamt  that clearly makes sense    and im quite sure SWA will make full use of the gates    itll be quite interesting to see     now with Canada having pre clearance  I have to wonder if at some point they  may start Canadian service from DAL as well as other cities..

Federal law prohibits commercial flights from DAL that depart the USA or arrive from outside the USA:

SEC. 3. TREATMENT OF INTERNATIONAL NONSTOP FLIGHTS TO AND FROM LOVE FIELD, TEXAS.

No person shall provide, or offer to provide, air transportation of passengers for compensation or hire between Love Field, Texas, and any point or points outside the 50 States or the District of Columbia on a nonstop basis, and no official or employee of the Federal Government may take any action to make or designate Love Field as an initial point of entry into the United States or a last point of departure from the United States.

Doesn't matter whether it's to/from any pre-clearance foreign airport. Absent a change in federal law and the consent of AA, DFW and the City of Fort Worth, there won't be any international flights at DAL.

The key word is Non-stop.

Wn can offer flights to international destinations from DAL as long as it is connecting flights.

Like DAL to HOU to CUN.
Just like Delta does to many worldwide destinations.
