thanks 700 thats just the start and its good start do you know if its going to spread to the hubs too yet or is it too early to know

Will this time go over better than the picketing in PHL back in May when the IAM didn't apply for permits?

Josh

Fascism is corporate government and a Libertarians wet dream. The MERGER of Corporate Power and Government to allow industry free rein to control the economy, how they are regulated, how much they pay in taxes, and how much they pay their workers. Sound familiar Brothers and Sisters at LCC ? Contracts NOW ! NMB release US !

Oh most people in there know his game, that is why they want to be released, its the only way an airline understands how to really negotiate, in all my years at US, we either went on strike, or into the 30 day cooling off period to get a new CBA.
One thing to remember AH is but a messenger of the intentions and posture of DP regarding contract negotiations. 700; I couldn't agree more with your assesment.Historically, this company does not negotiate in good faith unless their backs are against the wall with a 30 day cooling off period prior to a strike. Hopefully and yet regretably we will get to this point soon. This is the strategy this arrogant and unappreciative company chooses time and time again when it comes to their represented employess' compensation and livelihoods. As a 30+ year employee it sure doesn't give me a warm a fuzzy feeling. And yet some posters want us to rally behind the company in their selfish pursuit of yet another merger? WOW!

I want the merger for my own reasons , DP wants the merger for HIS own reasons , the pilots and FA's , they have theirs .... Everyone has their own reason for wanting or not wanting this merger to happen ... just because I want to see this merger happen doesn't mean I'm a company stooge...

I think in the long run this merger will provide job security and increased benefits for fleet Service . You may choose to believe that or not I don't care .

...I'm a company stooge...

Put your quote in context for you. Most here know your record, so it is most likely preaching to the choir.

Now go ahead and tell us all about your impeccable credentials as a shithouse airline analyst and economics professor.

glenn very well said... if his credentials are soo impeccable he be in the upper level donkey position with all the other donkeys that run this outfit....... of course his airline analyst and economics professor well lets just say he failed those subjects probably slept in class or missed most of it

Permits were applied for and received. The only bad part is we didnt get them approved until this past Tuesday, so we weren't really able to get the word out. However on a very short notice, I am proud to say that clt stepped up again and filled every picket slot that we had available. We will be ready to go from 6am- 8pm with 80+ agents picketing throughout the day.

Due to the talks this week with the NMB, negotiations have been scheduled for fleet in DFW on November 5, 6, and 7.
Then a message should be sent......................... safety first for the next six weeks and let's see if that gets their attention. Sorry for all you company lovers who didn't get your fifty dollar pay out for the July dot stats, I know your new car will now be repossessed.
