Do you tell guys that AWA is hiring like your buddy John does? Too bad you can't come east and check out like our 15 month guys.

Oh please, that sounds more like a musing to me. Now how would a west pilot be threatening anything with that statement? Do you think the APA takes it's direction from him?

And you used to be one of the guys that tried their best to ascribe some redeeming and respectful nature to even the worst of the West posts... I'm afraid kind, gracious faith can only last so long in the face of relentless empirical evidence from a few of the posters.

I thought exactly the inverse.. the APA pilots had better hope and pray we don't treat them like the West did us. Different strokes.....
And since it's Friday night, is it now traditional we do ALL caps? Or are you just a little on edge. I can understand your concerns, being my age but hired over 15 years after me. Folks like Prechill will win no matter what, being so young and all.
I know you to be a pretty nice guy, and you (and John) are two of the better USAPA Reps in all areas other than the NIC (hope that does not get you in trouble with your peers.)
This has been a long and costly battle, but I still say (and I know you are tired of it) had you simply made some small changes to the NIC, USAPA would not even exist. But all or nothing leaves no room for error, as we know also. Maybe we would all have acted different with hindsight, I know I would have. But here we be.
I actually agree with most West posters, it will be over on Tuesday. I am girding my loins for the NIC! Its going to really hurt.

Just a few small changes. Sounds so simple, and it probably would have been, in the proper venue. In JNC, talking it out like men. Why the power play and fanfare? That only told the west one thing, and I'm pretty sure you can figure it out. All that power play did was poison any and all reason among men and women.

Yes it is. Reading the actual docs submitted to the court are very informative, but coming onto this forum I learn the real skinny from folks like Prechil, Nic, and their buds.
Just think, the Plaintiff is asking Silver for an injunction that requires the Company and USAPA to use the Nic according to the terms of the MOU, ie. not to affect the status quo of two separate lists at East and West for operational purposes but only in the SLI negotiations with APA.
BUT NOW THAT I COME HERE TO BE INFORMED (tip of the hat of ALL caps for Dave), now I understand that Silver will not only grant the injunction the Plaintiff is asking for, but she will do them one better and enjoin USAir to immediately make the Nic effective on the 14th of May!! And in both cases she doesn't even have to rely on the TA!

I really don't know what my age has to do with anything. BTW, my career isn't "failed". I was hired by a major airline that was doing quite well before and not long after 9/11. Hiring, upgrades, new aircraft, growth, etc. My upgrade was estimated at year 6.5 (give or take). Then the great idea of acquiring a broke down property with entitled prima donna's that think it's OK to reneg on agreements and then do everything in their power to cheat a small group.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every time we said what kind of mods or fence, you guys broke out your DOH list to put mods on. You'd have thunk that after the arbitration you would have learned your lesson, guess not.
