And right back at you. Why is the assumption that the party with lesser numbers is somehow ascendant to the throne of rightness?

Getting a little tired of the "downtrodden and oppressed" minority, one that has been flying my routes and getting paid the approximation of a year's more extra pay since 2005 than I have received.

Good on you for your blessings, but the underclass routine is wearing thin.

The west is getting paid more than us Mark because we chose to remain on LOA93. In fact, some here have reiterated that they don't mind being on LOA93 and that the pay isn't so bad. We went into this demanding DoH with no C and R and certainly didnt want any fences. The west did offer a 7 year fence but, to protect our FOs, turned it down so that they could have access to upgrades in PHX.
I too believe its over. We've done it to ourselves again. Sure we'll appeal, but we won't enjoin anyone and the merger and the Nicolau will move on while the appeal trudges through the courts. Then USAPA will disappear and so will the appeal.

Never at any time did the West Class entertain any fences or restrictions. Never. My guess, having been in the room, is the "seven year' option would have worked just fine in our situation, and been welcomed by the East. DOH with seven year fences. We are already at "six." You would soon inherit the airline. Now your future depends on a Federal Judge who has already told you once you could not have what you want.

Because we were part of a union that took no responsibility, and provided zero input other than a 3rd party "process"; the West Class decided early on the WORST they could do in arbitration was DOH. They won the bet, but the game changed to reflect the pornography of an unearned award.

You cannot and will not ever put a pilot with seventeen years unbroken service, working for an active airline, behind a new hire. To me it is that simple. That was my decision point.

But it’s all over on Tuesday. I am doomed. Silver will now be imposing the NIC award, just like she signaled in her last ruling.

I must respectfully respond, Horse Pucky. Everytime I ever heard an east response it was DOH with C&Rs. The only time I heard fences on the Nic was from Doug Parker when he was standing 5 feet in front of me. No matter though, that time is past.

Yeah, I never even considered it. I worked on a ranch one summer in college. One of the guys I met had broken about every bone in his body riding bulls, the owner rode broncs, not much better. To each his own, but I've never been big on tatoos for myself or for the girls I dated.

As for Kim little Dong and Rodman, there's not a hole deep enough. Just my 2 cents.

The west or any other pilot group would have been capable of the same, given the 'right' circumstances. And they wouldn't be any more right or noble in doing so than you are.

Speaking of cutting in line. It does not work in the airline industry with pilots or passengers.
